The location was good, property manager was sweet and helpful.
Bed wasn’t very comfortable, and room did not have towels or floor mat in the bathroom. Once we asked for them, they did deliver them but would have been nice to have from the start.
The house is very nice and high-end, it really is a palazzo! Also, the lobby/ breakfast room and terrace are very nice. The room itself is nicely furnished and has an okay size, the bathroom facilities are not the most modern but definitely good enough. AC saved our lives at around 30 degrees! The room had a little inside yard which we used to dry our beach wear. The host, Patricia, is very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately doesn't speak English at all so the communication was merely limpingly existent.
We had a room facing a tiny private inside yard, so there was not much natural light and no view at all expect for the view towards a wall. Thankfully, we only stayed 1 night so it was okay (otherwise it would have driven me crazy, I need light and need to see the outside world). The floor with historic stone tiles looks nice, but should be cleaner – we couldn't walk without socks – and the bed was not very comfortable. For 1 night and only using the room to sleep there, it was okay, but still not quite worth the price and we both didn't sleep very well, so we wouldn't come back to this B&B despite all the positive factors which also exist.
The owner was very kind and helpful.

The aesthetic’s of the hotel are lovely. Rooms are large and airy, and well situated.
The bed in our room was awful. The bed was two single mattresses that were NOT comfortable at all, you would roll into the middle. It is a shame that such an important item was overlooked. If they change/upgrade their mattresses it would make all the difference. Also, their staff were friendly but spoke zero English and therefore communicating was very challenging which did impact the quality of our stay compared to other B&B’s.
Our hostess was very friendy and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. There was a 'balcony' area on which we could dry clothes (we were a party of 6 on a cycling trip). Location was very good.....close to the lovely old part of town. The property was very nicely decorated. Air-conditioning very welcome and effective!
There was nothing I could find a fault with !!
