A/C worked great in record temperatures Some great restaurants nearby Friendly staff Nice, big bathroom
Some mosquitoes in the room upon arrival
Hmmm....
Desk staff: very friendly, though not terribly effectual. Close to the airport; Room: clean.
Hotel overall: dusty, run-down; dining room: kitschy, dusty; food: expensive, disappointing; outdoor dining: unbearable lighting - couldn't wait to finish dinner to get out of the dismal setting. Notes: (BTW, one of us speaks passable Italian after a year of living in Italy) Immediately upon arrival we asked for a taxi to a restaurant 15 minutes away & were told they had a restaurant right there, why did we want to go out? We were looking forward to our final meal in Rome at a historical little Ostia Antica restaurant nearby. He called a taxi & over the next hour we were told repeatedly that it would be '3 minutes', 'driver is on the way', as there were several conversations between the driver & desk clerk - taxi never came & ww missed last available reservation at 10:30 pm. (Should have walked, but uncertain about safety of late night, roadside walking for two women.) Local taxi refused to take us to the hotel. Shuttle to/from airport was advertised, but airport pick-up site was extremely unclear, with little help from hotel desk - it ended up being tucked away, with scant signage, so DO ask for specific instructions on the location. When we checked in we paid for 6am pick-up, but driver very nearly drove away without us, insisting we had not paid, & desk clerk was befuddled, despite it being written on our ticket.
It was close to the airport.
It was impossible to walk anywhere as the hotel was on a dual carriageway with no pedestrian access or CROSSING.The shower had no hot water, but when I reported this, I was told that the water was hot.
Classic characters, good prices, restaurant attached. It was great for a single night!
The shuttle from the airport made all the difference..it was overwelming when I arrived at the crazy Italian airport . I needed the shuttle info on the web sight!! I had to go on line at the airport pay 8 euros to do so to get the number of the hotel and then I had to run to catch one of the last shuttles to the hotel. Please note: before I tracked down the shuttle info I waited in line for a cab only to have the cab driver look at me and say he did not know where the hotel was!! I had to go on line to look the directions for driving from the airport etc..but I got the correct phone number for the hotel. I could then call and get the shuttle info so put the shuttle times and pick up location in the booking Thank you
I could hear other rooms and the lobby but for the price and the shuttle cost and location of the airport hotel I would not complain!!
nothing

The very helpful and friendly man at the reception and the bed with two kind of "materazzi", a soft and a hard one.
That in the room there was a carpet. I prefer stone or wooden floors because it is more hygienic.
Large room and very good beds.
Good location for a quick overnight stay before an early morning flight from FCO airport. Clean, large room.
Charge for breakfast. Most hotels offer free continental breakfast, this hotel did not.
nieks
The hotel is isolated by motor way, no easy access to city and airport. No breakfast is offered and no place to have the beakfast. The only way to airport is by Taxi, but the price is very high for the short distance.
The hotel servers as a place for couples to meet as well, making it very unconfortable to stay with a family with children ans elders. The rooms were cold too.
The room was very clean. The location was close to the FCO airport.
The hotel does not deserve its 3-star rating--it was very old (1970s), there were few amenities (no internet), and was too expensive in comparison to the other 3-star hotels that I stayed in while in Rome.
When you stay at Hotel Chopin in Fiumicino, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Fiera di Roma and Parco Leonardo. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle at scheduled times and a ferry terminal shuttle.
