It was a very welcoming oasis of calm amidst the wonderful bedlam that is Fez.
Nothing to comment
Very beautiful Riad, nice pool, nice garden. Very nice staff. Cute Riad cat walking around. Very nice restaurant.
It was a luxurious Riad, very discreet service, quiet & calm and if you need a relaxing break, this is the place. The manager & staff were lovely and caring (My partner was ill for 36 hours and staff were attentive). Building was beautiful, immaculate and would definately recommend it.
Riad Norma did not offer lunch or snacks which was a problem as you had to leave the Riad and go in search of food (which was a problem, finding suitable eating places, due to partners food poisoning at one of the cafes in the medina). No fridge in the room which would have been a bonus due to the heat! Same breakfast every day (pancakes), would have been nice to have a boiled egg & toast.
The riad is beautiful. It has an elegant covered patio with floor mosaics, columns and richly decorated doors. There is a garden with a swimming pool.
The shower in the bathroom has no separate basin, so the water spreads all over the floor.
We really enjoyed each day of the stay at the Riad Norma, the riad was very nice with a charming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this riad to other guests.
The staff were friendly and helpfull and spoke good English. The location in the medina was good and there was plenty to see within walking distance.
The commission charged over a room by active hotels is not clear. My room was changed due to a problem and it was at a lower cost. I was charged 20% per day of commission charges by the hotel.
Very nicely decorated. Room was pleasant. Dipping pool was good as the temperature got to 40+C.
A stay at Riad Norma places you in the heart of Fes, within a 15-minute walk of Blue Gate and Der Batha Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a bus station shuttle.
