Pros: The staff was very attentive and gave the best suggestions to have a proper traditional meal. The location is nice, right in front of the aqueduct.
Cons: The room smelled tobacco way too much. The breakfast was poor. Small tv.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Well located across the aqueduct; the bar offers lovely views of it, lit at night. Modern and comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast, serving till 10:30, included in price; some stairs to get to the eating area. Parking was convenient in front of the hotel. Easy access to old part of the city. Nice room with plenty of sitting areas that can be used on main floor. Convenient small supermarket next door.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are delightful... attentive, genuinely kind, eager for you to have a good experience of their town and region. It might not be a 5-star luxury hotel, but it's absolutely charming because of all the personal attention they so readily extend to guests. The rooms are attractive: very clean, large and well designed. (e.g. Multiple electric outlets -- including on either side of the bed -- for recharging electronic devices.) The breakfast was excellent (truly excellent scrambled eggs + varieties of meats, local breads, mini croissants, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, ceral.) The hotel bar is enormous, with several "conversation groupings of comfy chairs and tables, plus several televisions (noticed them in my peripheral vision but couldn't hear them
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Big room, clean and very child friendly Very professional staff, prepared and friendly. Very good position, free parking across the street. Good view of the aqueduct Great if y
Cons: Is not possible to fully close the bathroom door due to the sliding door. The breakfast is complete, but local products will be a plus
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing, breakfast delicious, room and wc look like new and an amazing view ~
Cons: In the wc I had to keep moving cause the light would shutdown by itself for less than 2 min...
6,0 Good
Pros: Nice ladies at reception
Cons: The building and rooms were a bit drab. I didn't realize the hotel was located away from the town centre itself. The view on the aqueduct didn't really compensate for that.

10,0 Excellent

5,0 Okay
Pros: I would never stay here again. Room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Good parking.
Cons: Over Christmas Eve. Single staff member not interested. No bar and no food. Merly told us to eat at another hotel. We went to the Hotel Vila Galé Collection in Elvas. Brilliant. Used their facilities for next two days. Got more help from their reception than we did this hotel. In three weeks of travel in Portugal, worst place the three of us stayed at. Big disappointment.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel, large and stylish room, very friendly receptionist with perfect English.
Cons: We always find that coffee from an automatic machine at breakfast is disappointing.

Cons: Everything is a bit old though quite well kept
4,6 Okay
Pros: Dinner was fine.
Cons: Very tired property. Needs a lick of paint. Lots of dirt around.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This property was a 'find'. So quiet and peaceful, we should have spend some days here. Nearby Elavas turned out to be a walled town with the walls built as an external castle type layered defence. The food in the restaurant was beautifully cooked and presented. A gem.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Peace and quiet.
Cons: Pool should be cleaned daily.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great swimming pool. Faded splendour of a previous age. Quiet and comfortable. Great, upgraded room overlooking garden.

6,0 Good
Pros: Nice staff, breakfast was good.
Cons: The reception smelled funny. Light from the corridor shined through the door during the night., and I could hear all that was going on outside the room.
7,9 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast, excelent staff, the suite is very nice, and I like how there's two restaurants of different types right below the hotel. We got the romantic package which was definitely a nice bonus, a bottle of cheap champagne every day, accompanied by a large, beautiful bowl of fruits.
Cons: Some little things need repair or replacement, like the TV remote control, the sofa is kind of hard, the lid for the drain of the bathtub (sad how we couldn't take a romantic imersion bath on our romantic suite), and some very specific areas of the bathroom needed to be cleaned better. Also, you can hear everything that's happening in the corridors like if there were no doors.
5,4 Okay
Pros: On arrival we had a sandwich and a drink from the self service section which was very good value and well staffed.
Cons: The noise from dogs barking virtually the whole night, lorries coming and going from the large parking area to the side of the hotel.A diesel engine that started and stopped a few minutes later until late in the evening from just after seven in the morning, the constant drip/flow of water into the toilet cistern. Pillows extremely low quality. The mould around the shower. The hotel bar is advertised as open from 17.00 until 23.00 and it probably is if you can find someone to serve you.We found a very pleasant young lady to serve us at about 6.30 but couldn't find anyone after leaving the restaurant later.Bar was in darkness.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient, close to the National road N4, but very quiet. With regards to an evening meal there is the Restaurante Dom Januário or a cafe/self-service. The rooms are modern and clean and the breakfast was good
Cons: Our TV went on at in the middle of the night with a high volume. I mentioned it to the receptionist and she said that it maybe that someone in the adjoining room switched it on in error as all the TVs and remote controls are the same model. It was not a pleasant experience
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ideal for those who pass by the area. The hotel is very charming, with a lovely courtyard, surrounded by fields. Very easy to get to - very close to the main motorway. They are a pet friendly hotel. There is a restaurant at the side but food served in there is very average and not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. I recommend to eat out in any nearby restaurant as they have more veggie options.
