10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was blown away by Linda Vista. The location is perfect - just a few steps from Ave. Libertador - the Main Street in El Calafate. Many great restaurants and bars up in near by walking distance. The room is actually a small apartment. Super comfy and complete with floor heating in the bathroom, a small refrigerator and even a gas powered stove top. Amazing! But, and this is where the magic is - the absolute best part was the staff. Jinny and her mother are super friendly, super knowledgeable and very happy to help. Jinny helped us with booking attractions in El Calafate and the area making sure we got the best deals and the absolute best tours around. Everything with a huge smile and a big heart. Linda Vista made us feel super welcome and I would strongly recommend this place in El Calafate. As a veteran traveler I think Linda Vista was one of my favorite stays worldwide.
Cons: The place is great and so well maintained. One very small thing to improve on, and yes, it’s minute is maybe adding some condiments like salt and pepper to the room. But agin - you can just ask the reception and they’ll get it for you.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. I cannot find fault in anything from service to cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, well equipped, very comfortable, extremely friendly and helpful staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice host, given lot of useful information and help many things, rooms clean and warm. The host also made the lunch box for clients.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast offering was quite nice. It included all sorts of pastries, toast, cereal, fruit salad, coffee, ham, cheese, etc. The location was also fantastic! It was super walkable to El Calafate's main street. The comforter for the bed was also super cozy. I was most impressed by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and caring. The young lady who checked us in was very kind to provide a number of suggestions around town and was incredibly sweet about offering to make my husband some special tea for his throat since it was clear he was a little sick. The hospitality here by all was really wonderful.
Cons: I think this is unique to the particular "cabin" we were staying in because I think it was the only one directly on the sidewalk. Our windows were right next to a frequented sidewalk, so you got a lot of noise from the street and passersbywhen downstairs. It also made me a bit uneasy to have the front door so near and accessible to passersby. Everything worked out just fine in the end, but that was my only small feeling of unease.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place, wonderful and very helpful people running it. Close to central shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We like the apartment and the mother and daughter team, were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Nothing really except the breakfast could be of more choices.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had such wonderful experiences staying in Patagonia Queen! Everything was perfect (great location, tidy and spacious room with beautiful view and super friendly staff)! Raphael was like an old friend to us, extremely helpful, kind, with a great sense of humor, giving us tons of tips visiting the town and the glacier, free upgrade of the room after getting to know it was our honeymoon, and many more insights about life in El Calafate and their effort of protecting the environment. I am fascinated by the nature surrounding El Calafate, but even more by the people. Many greetings, Fan & Lukas
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was quaint, very cozy, and had a great little lobby area. Since the rooms were small, I oftentimes had a drink in the lobby area while I waited for my wife to get ready. I really enjoyed the tranquility of thar space.
Cons: The room was very small, but for the price we paid, it was as expected. That was really my only dislike.
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is centrally located, and the place is beautiful! I loved the wood construction, hardwood floors, and wood throughout in the decor. Cons: I can't think of anything that was less than completely satisfactory.

Pros: Super helpful staff. Location to bus station is excellent. A bit of a walk to town, but easily doable. Town is awesome. Wish we had more days here.
Cons: With a pastry cooking school in house you might expect some of these pastries to show up at breakfast. Wrong. Breakfast is okay, pastries were commercial over the counter store bought and average at best.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our friends recommended that we stay here so we booked a double room with mountain views. The room was small but comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff were so nice and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations for restaurants (we loved Mako!), helped us book a tour of Perito Merino as well as other travel. Two thumbs up!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: +LOCATION: it’s pretty close to the main street in Calafate. +FACILITIES: the rooms and bathrooms are super clean and the living room is cozy and welcoming. There are plenty of young travellers, and ideal to meet people from all over the world. There is a bar and every night there is a Parrillada. Some nights there is live music.
Cons: -STAFF: there is something that I did not like about the staff, which was that they were uninformed about some routes, buses and activites and they did not help on some of my queries.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was simple but good. Staff were incredibly helpful. Good vibe without being obnoxious, or too quiet. We stayed in the private room w shared bathroom (basically a separate cabin), which made for a quiet sleep. Dogs and roosters wake you up tho haha! Overall a great stay.

Pros: The hostel managers are absolute stars. They were really helpful to suggest places to visit and lunch spots - and very very nice! I still miss my breakfast there with cake and huevos revueltos... :) A massive YES from me!
Cons: Even though I had been warned about it, it was taking forever to get hot water in my room. Nothing major, though!

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving us great advice about the Perito Moreno glacier and onward travel.
Cons: It can get a little noisy at night with people entering and exiting their rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. The hostel has a very homey feeling to it. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and staff were really Lind and helpful, facilitating check out for everyone who arrived with us, showed us around and gave us advice on places to go for a bite. Our room had everything we needed. The common facilities are excellent, with plenty of space to hang out. Breakfast was by far the best one in our whole trip through Argentina, with a large variety of options (cakes, cereals, bread, and eggs available upon request). The cakes were clearly homemade, baked in their kitchen but their lovely staff, and super tasty. They prepare a packed lunch upon request which was great for us, as we arrived late and had a day trip booked for the next day where we were asked to carry our own meal. Staff answered all of our questions really helpfully throughout our stay. It’s also just one block away from the Main Street, so very easy to walk there to go out for dinner, shopping or just a stroll. We will definitely recommend it.
Cons: It was perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff - they gave us great tips for affordable restaurants in town. Breaksfast is very correct for the room price. It has a nice courtyard to hang out later in the day. The room was comfortably warm!

Pros: This hotel is really amazing. We got room upgraded and it was really beautiful, spacious room with bathtub and shower and great view. The hotel is very modern but also cosy, restaurant food was delicious and people working in this hotel are very helpful and friendly, I would definitely come back there again.
Cons: Water in the swimming pool was extremely hot, it was very hard to get in. Fireplace in lobby area was only as a decoration and there was never really fire there, which is a pity because it would give great atmosphere there.
7,1 Good
Pros: The design of property is great and creative. We have a relax stay before checkout time.
Cons: We left the diamond ring on the desk beside bed. I told my wife do not forget to wear before going to checkout. There was only one ring on the desk obviously. At that time, it was 12 o’clock, the checkout time. So we were in rush. After checkout, we had lunch in hotel and stayed in lobby to waiting the shuttle bus to airport. Nearly 3 pm, she found that she lost the ring in room. Then we went back to room to look for it with the staff. The room has already cleaned by housekeeper. The diamond ring has gone already. Nothing on the desk, and nothing on the floor. She (housekeeper )said she didn’t see anything left. Meanwhile, the shuttle bus was coming to pick up. Between 12:15-3pm, only the housekeeper went to the room.

Pros: Grear staff, nice restaurant and good food. Very nice and fancy lobby.

5,8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was pretty decent, good selection of food. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean.
Cons: Staying here was the disappointment of my trip. The staff at the front desk lacked warmth, friendliness and personality. The whole hotel felt cold, there was nothing original about it. I was disappointed right when I walked into my room- it was basic and there was hardly a "lake view" from the first floor, which I paid extra. No one explained how to use the remote controls for the blinds. There was no binder or book in the room explaining anything. This is not a 5 star hotel, by any means. And after miscommunication with my shuttle pickup (not the hotels fault by any means) but it was the way the matter was handled (continuing to call me when I was rushed and frantically packing after my shuttle arrived 40 minutes early)- just rude and no regard. Awful. Avoid at all costs. There are better hotels and hostels in the area with better value for your money where the staff are more kind and professional. My only regret was that they were already all booked and I was thrown by the positive results from this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms !! I’ll be back again
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is amazing, a little bit far from the city centre but they offered you complementary shuttle service to and from the downtown. The staff were all excellent, in particular Florencia at the reception. She was really helpful!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good staff. Nice view.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The view, the spa and the staff was the best, super helpful and friendly.
Cons: I would say that I was a bit disappointed about the restaurant they have called La Mora. They only have one choice for wine by the glass.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view and the facilities
Cons: Nothing
7,7 Good
Pros: The indoor-outdoor pool is very cool. The breakfast is pretty good, and you can even order a lunch to go (have to do it the night before) if you're taking a trip that day, which is a very nice feature. You also get a welcome drink when you check in.
Cons: For a "deluxe suite" the rooms are average. The location isn't great, but the hotel shuttle is very dependable. If you take the bus from the airport, you'll be one of the last dropped off (and one of the first picked up on your way back). On the plus side, if you're heading to the glacier, you're be one of the last on and first off.
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: absolutely awful and rude front desk service. the coldest people i encountered the entire trip and overall for a long long time.

Pros: Staff are excellent...very helpful
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really cozy and cute! Clean rooms, clean bathroom, etc.. The food was excellent!! Very nice staff!!! But if I were to go again to El Calafate, I would look for a hotel a little closer to the center.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a bit noisy. In the room you could hear all the doors of the other guests, and I guess the walls were very thin because you could hear everything going on outside of the room IN the hotel. Outside was very calm!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is super friendly, treat you like family and show a proactive interest to make sure you have an awesome time in all senses!

Pros: I came back to this hotel after a flight cancelation to see if they had a room available, previous visit was great before. They helped, beyond their responsability, with other car and hotel cancelations and flight rescheduling. Thanks so much again. Hotel, rooms, breakfast and staff are excellent.
Cons: No complaints whats so ever from my side.

Cons: We feel that main menu could be a little more adventurous, plus it would of been nice to have some mixed fruit available at breakfast.

Cons: WiFi was erratic
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely located with a great view across the lake.
Cons: Liked it all.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: After a lot of travelling through Argentina in budget hotels, Meulen was by far the best; the room and bathroom were impeccably clean, comfortable, well designed and spacious, breakfast was good but the staff were exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Florencia who organised all of our excursions which made our stay even easier. Yes the hotel is a bit further away from the town centre than others but this was a bonus as the views of the lake were amazing and the walk was a nice one, past the nature reserve. The sitting room is a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing with stunning views; I can't recommend Meulen highly enough.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great views of Nimez Lagoon so we could watch flamingos, geese, ibises from the comfort of the lounge. There were charts of birds and plants posted on wall by viewing area. Free shuttle to downtown was useful for afternoon shopping trip followed by dinner. Great large shower, soft, fluffy towels.

Thanks again to the lovely family they run this hotel.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - albeit on the outskirts of town - and amazing views over Lago Argentino. The rooms were super large and nice, too. Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: The lounge area around the fireplace was extremely noisy and drafty. Not sure if there was a fan in the chimney to suck air in or what, but it was difficult to sit here for more than a few minutes despite the cozy appearance and great views out the window.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with excellent views of lago Argentina. Friendly staff and good value for money
4,5 Okay
Pros: Comfortable beds and good location with an excellent view of the lake. But bad service. Front desk not making reservations or giving us appropriate messages from tour agencies who changed times for our tours which could have caused us to miss the tours and almost caused us to not have anywhere to eat for Christmas Eve!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible views, quiet location, welcome drinks on arrival, friendly staff.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very modern. Rooms have enough space. The facilities were great, swimming pool wasn’t crowded and we really enjoyed the views from the room and the restaurant; they are incredible!! Restaurant is delicious and similar prices to Calafate town. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel is not downtown, but the views are worth it! Hotel provides buses to get you downtown but sometime schedules are a bit late (pick up was at 11:15 pm).
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: Everything is rundown or broken. Restaurant food is overpriced and poor quality.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfortable & Bruno at reception was very helpful!! Breakfast was pretty good
Cons: This hotel is quite tired in parts & could do with refurbishment in parts e.g restaurant, restaurant toilets. Found staff not engaged & bit too casual about their work, tables left untidy for some time or not cleaned during breakfast to permit someone to use the table again etc
6,3 Good
Pros: Room’s size.
Cons: The room has a good size and a beautiful view, but in the opposite side others rooms have a bad view to the parking area and no privacy. The internet service is really bad in the room and no exist in the lob. Restaurant is too little and breakfast not good. The hotel is a little smelly.
