Chic, elegant without the ‘fuss’
Breakfast was great. No pool available but there was plenty of other ways to spend your time. The rooms were contemporary and chic. The staff were professional.! The bar was ‘funky’. The drinks were expensive - £9 for a glass of wine. You expect to pay over the odds on holiday - especially in a city. A great few days away.
Cannot fault anything.
Wonderful staff
Great staff! Very attentive and helpful and so friendly! The facilities are clean and comfortable. It's about a 15 min walk to the castle and the royal mile.
Good position close to city centre and university
The location is very good and the staff were friendly and attentive. These were the redeeming features.
Poor car parking facilities, breakfast was uninspiring, room was not particularly clean.
Excellent breakfast!
Limited parking available
Room was very spacious, clean and overall good value for money. Location good also
quality of room and first meal
I thought the price of the breakfast was excessive at £19 for a hot breakfast.Went next door to Premier and got all you can east breakfast for £7.95. Also got breakfast in cafe just down the road for £4.95. This would put be off coming back. Maybe go to premier inn next door.
Nice staff
Did not get a separate bed for child (2years old) Poor kids playcorner
room service and cleanliness of room both excellent
Decor could be modernised a bit. No sink in the toilet for washing hands
Very nice room. Good sized bathroom. Excellent breakfast. As compared to most other hotels, the hot breakfast is part of the standard buffet.
The dinner experience was not great. We tried Italian, Indian and Thai cuisine. Only the Thai cuisine was good.
Breakfast was good, whirlpool was good.
Air con was not great and swimming pool is very small
the staff brilliant with the children and nothing was to much trouble for them
