The worst place I have stayed in during my entire life
Properly was in a good location plenty of buses right outside the door to take you in to town. The rooms were okay I was a bit scared because people and put in reviews that they were biting by bugs but none of that happened to us. The staff were so kind and helpful if you needed something they would try there best to help.
That the rooms weren’t stocked daily with milk and coffee or toilet rolls had to keep going to the foyer to collect them . The rooms were needing a bit of an update but it was clean. The smoking area out the back was a mess. So we used the front of the house
Not clean, no toilet paper, no lock on window and we were in the basement, beds not comfortable, staff difficult to get hold of but polite when you did apart from one who was rude, photo’s on line deceiving, no bath towels or hand towels though i got bath towels after asking. Lesson learnt ; i should have read trip advisor before booking!
Was able to get an early book in, room was clean and comfortable could maybe do with freshening up and a lick of paint but it was ok. Comfortable beds good location with a nice walk into town.
Could do with a lick of paint otherwise it wasn't too bad.
It was actually available when nothing else was available in Edingburgh at that price level.
Navigating to postcode via Google Maps was not very close. Down stairs to basement room. Not very clean. No breakfast. For tea in room, had to find milk in reception. £225 price for 1 night opportunistic.
