Purgatory Lodge by Purgatory Resort

Purgatory Lodge opened in 2008 as part of an expansion of the Purgatory Ski Resort in the Needles Mountain Range. The lodge is a ski-in/ski-out facility, offering its own onsite bar and restaurant. There are two, three, and four-bedroom units available in this lodge, which include all of the luxurious appointments you would expect. The lodge features concierge services and a ski valet to maximize your enjoyment of the area, as well as a heated pool with slide, jacuzzi tubs, private game room and guest lounge area, and more.

The Purgatory Lodge offers an onsite fitness center and day spa for guests who want to relax or stay active during their stay. Complimentary continental breakfast is included in every stay, as is heated garage parking. There are select pet-friendly accommodations available at this non-smoking lodge. All of the guest rooms include granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and fully-appointed kitchens, flat-screen TVs, gas fireplaces, a private balcony, complimentary WiFi, and in-suite washer and dryer.

The lodge also offers a cabana bar by the pool, which is open seasonally for guest enjoyment. There are 150 guest condos available at this resort, including a number of accessible guest rooms. The hotel offers ski storage, children’s club activities, childcare for an additional charge, and access to a golf course. Plus, it is just a short drive from Silverton and the San Juan County Historical Society. Guests who aren’t here for skiing and outdoor activities at the nearby Purgatory Resort or other areas of Durango Mountain can find plenty to do within the general area.
