Guests say
Guests generally appreciated the hotel's excellent location, which was convenient for accessing various attractions and amenities. The service provided by the staff was routinely highlighted as friendly and accommodating, contributing to a positive overall experience. Cleanliness was also a notable strength according to many reviews. However, guests frequently criticized the small room sizes, with some expressing discomfort due to cramped spaces and dated decor. Despite some shortcomings, many guests found value for their money, especially when considering the hotel's affordability.

There is only one hotel we stay at in Dublin, Cassidy's. We have stayed there many times, wonderful staff, very clean, great location. Thomas Clark's bar and Murray's bar & restaurant are only 1 minute away. End your night there, enjoy the entertainment. Then back to the warm welcome of Cassidy's. Booked again for February.

Pros (+) This hotel was fine. It was by no means luxurious but it was decently well-situated and the restaurant was not bad. It was also quite affordable. It’s a good budget hotel overall. The room was a bit dingy and the hotel layout bizarre (getting to the room was a long trek involving multiple corridors and elevators). It was fairly clean but again, run-down.
Cons (-) Dated decor, very bare bones toiletries (handsoap and shampoo only, no condition or body wash). There was a hole in my comforter.

Pros (+) The hotel was in a great location. Staff was phenomenal. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Cons (-) There was nothing I didn't like.

Cons (-) Rooms and bathrooms could do with an upgrade but it was comfortable.

Pros (+) The hotel is in a great location in the city and the staff were helpful when they could be.
Cons (-) Our biggest problem was other guests being noisy or inappropriate, which the hotel can't necessarily control, and some things in our room weren't up to the best standards, like the broken soap dish in the shower and the lack of sheets on the bed (only a comforter which was too heavy). But with the price you can't exactly expect luxury.

Pros (+) The location was perfect for a city centre stay, the breakfast was tastey and plentiful and the bar staff were friendly.

Pros (+) Very friendly, competent and helpful front desk staff.
Cons (-) Tiny room withbuncomfortable beds. No air conditioning so windows had to stay open. Top floor but noisy street - all night parties and traffic. Worn down furniture and poor public spaces. To top it off €560 for Saturday night (U2 concert, Prrhaps). Deplorable.

Pros (+) Location pretty close to town. Friendly staff. Room (418) was compact but was lovely and warm despite being very cold outside. Quiet at night too. No veggie sausage at breakfast but lots of cereal, fruit, toasts and alternatives. Bus to airport stops on same street so very easy departure. Reception offered to store our luggage after check out until we left for our plane.
Cons (-) A bit dated but adds to the charm.

Pros (+) We stayed in room 20. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a European charger, but the outlets in Ireland are different. The front desk gave me an adapter to use that saved us from having to buy one. Great location for the price. Everything is in walking distance. Plenty of places to eat and many small shops nearby.
Cons (-) Room was on the cool side even with the radiator all the way on. It wasn't a problem though.

Pros (+) The price was reasonable and the location was perfect. We weren't right in the middle of city centre but we were close enough. There was lots to do with in walking distance (shops, restaurants and pubs especially) and the bus stops were just a block down to help you reach the rest of the city. The bar was nice and the prices were fair. The bartender was actually the one that suggested the Hop on H...
Cons (-) The shower is a bit snug with limited space for toiletries, but even that is a very minor issue.
