10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was included and each day we got something different. Food was French/Vietnamese and was outstanding. Our hosts, Anne and Jean Baptiste also brought us lunch one day and soup two of the nights we stayed - totally unexpected and very welcome. Anne and Jean Baptiste make you part of their family - they have lots of suggestions on things to do and places to see and their attention to detail is outstanding. I wasn't very well for a couple of days we stayed and they offered soothing drinks and checked to see how I was. Apartment has a lovely view to the hills and the inside balcony is a sun trap, which I appreciated whilst I was getting better. You also have an outdoor courtyard to yourself. The ability to do some washing and hang it on a line outside was very welcome. Bed is extremely comfortable and bathroom luxurious. If we could rate it higher than 10 we would have done so. Totally recommended.
Cons: If we could have stayed longer, but they had guests coming in - lucky them :)
10,0 Excellent

Pros: We felt very welcome and pampered in "little Vietnam" at le noisetiers. We were foreseen with an incredible breakfast every morning and tips to explore the surroundings of Digne le bains. The owners are doing there utmost to have more than satisfied visitors. Very tidy and clean appartment, lovely and perfectly equiped swimmingpool, but above that their hospitality is far above expectations.

Pros: We especially enjoyed the common area patio before dinner. The staff was quite helpful despite our language difference. The room had plenty of outlets. The bed was quite comfortable and had 3 pillows. We had a nice dinner in their restaurant.
Cons: No problem for us, but you need to know there is no elevator and maybe ask for a low floor. We couldn't figure out the air conditioning so just opened the window.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff most helpful with our motorcycle parking, rooms spotless ,air con worked well ,bottled water in room as well as tea making facilities. Food in restaurant very good ,good stop over point .

Pros: Excellent value for money, spacious room, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast, gated parking, non-smoking room and above all, the room had air conditioning (which was a necessity due to a heatwave)

9,6 Excellent
Pros: We really liked this place! It seems to be a bit of a one man band operation so reception wasn't open until 3pm but there are plenty of nice cafes all around to get a coffee if you need to wait. The staff were very friendly and the room was very french with a comfy bed and old dark furniture. Bathroom was very small but very clean and functional. Breakfast was excellent with jugs of hot coffee and fresh bread. Plenty of cheap parking at the end of the road. Digne itself seems to be a lovely old town and we had an excellent dinner in Le Chuadron (just round the corner on a side street). Inevitably being in the centre of town it can be a bit noisy but after a long drive and an excellent dinner we slept very well!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The host was very accomodating to our needs and that was very appreciated. I highly recommend this place with the very nice staff ready to help you as much as they can
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel fulfilled our brief of a typical French older type hotel in centre of town. The spiral staircase was amazing. The owner allowed us in room early. Breakfast was good. All very efficient
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe no hair dryer.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful & welcoming at reception
7,5 Good
Pros: Town centre hotel, convenient for restaurants and bars. Traditional French style 2-star hotel
Cons: A little noisy early in the morning as the town woke up before I did.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No lift, very Noisy, very hot rooms, No AC (not even a fan).
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Rooms were ok
Cons: Receptionist was drunk when we arrived (he wasn't at the desk and we had to call him and apparently he was coming from the bar). He speaks little to know English despite the hotel advertising to speak English. We arrived by car and because the hotel DOES NOT have in-house parking we specifically asked receptionist about parking procedure. Receptionist told us that it is ok to leave the car on the street overnight (public parking). We asked him several times in different languages including French to make sure it is ACTUALLY OK. The answer was positive. And we trusted this guy... We arrived when it was dark and couldn't see any signs prohibiting parking. This was normal blue box on the side of the street meaning it should be fine to park for free during non working hours. Long story short next day in the morning we found out that our car was not there anymore! It was market (marche) day on the street. The same receptionist (looked sober this time) was surprised when we asked about the car. He said that he called our number the night before as he was contacted by the local police to remove the car from the street. BUT as we found it out he called our kids room and obviously they didn't understood the receptionist (drunk one) as they barely speak French. Receptionist didn't make ANY attempts to contact us (parents) with regards to this matter. In the end of the day our car was evacuated by depannage. But again even when it became clear receptionist didn't even tried to help us contact the local authorities. He just pointed it out location of the local police office on the map. From there we took it on our own. With suitcases and kids... Bottom line we were able to retrieve our car back by spending ~ 140 euros including payment for evacuation and taxi to reach another town as our car was evacuated there. Higher than the price of the hotel itself. Very disappointed with the staff and misleading information which cost us time and money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and staff were both excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time we have stayed here. Some of the fittings need a bit of tlc but it is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel has quirky French decor which we love and is in a good location with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Despite central location the hotel was very quiet and we slept well. The hotel seems to be a bit of a one man operation - the receptionist also provides breakfast but he is not available lunchtime till about 3-3:30 so don't arrive there to early!
6,3 Good
Pros: Old building. Long way up the stairs if you have cases. its ok for one night.
Cons: Its central for food and shops. Be aware of the drunks shouting in the street as this is in the center of town.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, restaurant was good. Limited menu which covered all tastes. Lovely rosé by the glass. Swimming pool was perfect temperature!
Cons: The courtyard where the rooms are could do with a paint to tidy it up. It could be a lovely area.

7,1 Good
Pros: - Possibility to make a tea or coffee. - Cleanness - Possibility to use swimming pool - Good for golf players
Cons: - Very small room on the ground floor without windows (there was only balcony door) - WIFI was not possible to use for us. - No air condition - If I wanted to ventilate my room in the warm night I had to open the balcony door, so anybody could entry to my room when I sleep. It was not very good for us.
