Pros:The only thing to like about this place is the location and that there is a Waffle House in the parking lot.
Cons:When we first got to the hotel, we could tell that it was going to be dirty. The parking lot is a wreck and suffers from no upkeep. The lobby had a very musty, awkward smell to it and is very confused in terms of decor. The only thing worth looking at were the fish on the walls. Check in didn't take much time at all and the lady at the desk was friendly. When we got to our room, (214) it as well had a musty wet smell to it that was covered up by the smell of Lysol. The floor had huge stains everywhere, there was thick dust everywhere specifically on the headboards, there were small roaches in the tub, and to top it off, the maintenance man was not finished in our room (even though we were told it was ready). He had to run an extension chord to the lamp next to the door from the 1 outlet between the beds just so that lamp would work. There were no available outlets in the room... We couldn't plug in our phones next to the bed because the 1 outlet had lamps plugged into it. Wouldn't have been a problem if there was at least 1 light on the ceiling, but there wasn't. The bed was absolute hell. I woke up feeling worse than i ever have in years. The pillows were flat and had no support unless you used 3. Yes, 3. The bathroom towels were really small and very rough... The next day, the safe in the room (that we were NOT using) randomly started beeping over and over. We hadn't touched it or even looked at it untill this started happening. Finally we had enough and called the front desk. They sent someone up 20 minutes later and fixed the problem. No apology was given... Needless to say, we will never stay at this hotel again.

Pros:Only thing we liked was location. Dirty, dirty, dirty!
Cons:We didn't like the fact that we had to wear shoes inside. Even after a shower, as soon as we walked on carpet our feet turned BLACK. The light above sink kept going out and there weren't enough outlets to turn on lamp that was in room. There were too many appliances plugged into an attached plug in outlet. We came back from beach and maintenance was airing out our room. They said we left coffee pot on and it burned the outlet, wires, microwave, fridge. When we told them we made sure twice it was turned off ( I'm OCD about these things) it was our word against theirs. They didn't bother telling us that we were being charged 236.00 until we checked out. The comforter was filthy, tub and floors filthy. Also, the wifi only worked about 10% of the time.

Pros:For the value in fall you can't beat it. It was within walking distance to restuarants and the Harbor Walk shopping. It is across the street from the Harbor. There are all kinds of way side parks to go to the beach. The beds have been updated and are super comfy.
Cons:A little older facility but still nice for the vaiue. In fall it was only 60.00.
