Pros: We liked everything. So kind hostess! When our family arrived, hotel restoran was closed and weather was terrible so she brought (I don't know from where) a dinner- meat filled pancakes to our room.
Pros: Decent size room with big bathroom. Only a few minutes walk from the railway station and also close to the city center (small town). WiFi worked fine, but there was no desk in my room. The hotel is small and you get personal service. Breakfast is not a buffet; instead you get it individually at the time you ask for. I had mine on a Sunday morning at 06:30, and it included an omelette.
Pros: Nice double room with bathroom, very friendly person. She asked us what kind of breakfast we wanted. It was delicious. Very good value for money
Pros: Great signage from various locations close to the hotel ensured one was able to find it with a minimum of effort. The staff very very friendly and the lady receptionist L dealt with had excellent English and was very informative about the town and facilities the hotel had. Room was comfortable with an interesting range of programs on the TV. Breakfast was ok if a little odd in the way it was provided. Location of the hotel was good as it was not to far from either the bus or train station. The meal inthe attached restaurant was very nice and very reasonable in price.
Cons: If one went out inthe evening the reception was only open to about 8.30pm. After this time you had to use a key to get into the building which contained the room I was staying in, which was a bit odd.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, nice and very clean bathroom, very comfortable bed, very good breakfast, made according to your taste, individually, very quiet location.
Cons: There's nothing I didn't like :)
Pros: What an amazing place! This small hotel is so charming you immediately get an inspiration to write a novel! When we arrived we were informed that our room will be "upgraded" into a nice suite with no extra cost - and it was amazing. The look is authentic, unique, classic, like you went back in time (in a great way!). The bed was super comfy and there were two tables in the living room for your laptop(s) - been working on one late at night and the atmosphere is magical. If you want to smoke you go outside and across the entrance you'll see a table with an ashtray. Lats, but not least - the breakfast: this is experience like no other - you order (the night before) what you would like to eat and it gets served to you in the morning in almost "at home" experience. We were travelling from Daugavpils via an early morning train and had breakfast ready at 06:45, it was great! The hotel is very close to the train station (less then 5 minutes walk), and also the city centre. If visiting be sure to visit the Daugavpils fortress, it's one of the kind!
Pros: Easy straight walk 5 minutes from train station
Cons: Very bulky pillows. I am sure staff would have changed them but we were only there one night. Not the fault of staff but lots of noise from people walking around middle of the night in the room upstairs.
Pros: Very good wifi. Very good breakfast
Pros: Great location, spacy room.
Cons: Dirty walls and shower in the bathroom, full of hair.

Pros: Good WiFi and parking; nice garden. Pleasant and helpful receptionist, kettle and cups supplied on request, 2 supermarkets within 100 Mars.
Cons: Dismal soviet style buildings, trains being shunted and announcements all night, bottom bedsheet only laid on bed and as such spent most of the night trying to unravel myself out the tangled sheets. Basic breakfast and tea made with warm(ish) waster.
Pros: Perfect service and polite staff, very good breakfast
Cons: Matress (old)
Pros: Good as we were able to take food with us for our other friends who were sleeping still in the morning
Pros: Everything was ok, excellent price/performance
Cons: Train rails are nearby and you can hear train.
Pros: Overall this is a great value for money! Parking was FOC. Room was clean and comfortable! And breakfast was good too!
Cons: A little bit noisy during the night because of the train right next to the hotel,so in case you have a fragile sleep better ask for a room on the inner courtyard!
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Trains pass nearby.
Pros: Great breakfast! Recommend!
Pros: For the price hotel is really good! Nice staff speaking in national language (+), nice breakfest, in the room you have all needed things for convenient stay.
Pros: Staff nice. Not far from train station. Spacious room. Nice breakfast
Cons: Beds not very comfortable
Pros: It's fine if you don't expect too much from a hotel next to railway tracks. A bit worn-out but not expensive. With its own parking space (not a big one though). Not much choice in terms of breakfast but it's enough too keep you going for a couple of hours.

Pros: Administrator was pretty friendly.
Cons: No sound insulation at all. Be ready to wake up 6-7 in the morning because of the loud voices from corridor. Room have a worn out interior with a taste of 90s. There are much more fresher hotels in the city for the same price.
Pros: Quite clean.

Pros: Staff was very helpful. In the price was included breakfast and pool with sauna.
Cons: Not very clean carpet in the room. No dishes in room. Not very good smell in corridor.
Pros: Kind personel, nice, clean and comfortable room. Good value for the money you pay and spa included :)
Pros: The spa is great.
Cons: It would be good to have darkening curtains end probably softer matrasses.
Pros: The spa facilities made you get great value for you money.
Pros: The staff is very friendly, big thanks to them, but hotel should be renovated as it looks like it is stuck in time. If you get it cheep book it, otherwise search for something else. Floors have stains, fungas grows all around shower, would be nice if bedsheets wouldn't have stains on them. Breakfast is quot poor.
Cons: Shower infested with fungas
Pros: Friendly staff, indoor pool
Cons: Breakfast was okay, but nothing special
Cons: Is filling that blank during check-in really necessary? Feels like a chore without any consequences. Also since the hotel is located in residential area and in the one with private estate, free animal choirs are available. Sometimes they are nice though.
Pros: reseption very good and friendly, fast service!
Cons: In the restaurant slow service in the evening.

Pros: Nice and quiet - a little out of the way but not too bad; for anyone with a map (or a mobile phone!) it's no trouble to find from the railway station. Didn't see the proprietor as much as I would have wanted, but everything went well overall. Nice hotel - Daugavpils is very, very quiet though.
Cons: Nothing wrong whatsoever - I just could have done with the town being a little more lively, if possible. Don't want to put anyone off, as many folk would consider this to be exactly what they want. Some very decent vegetarian food available in the middle of town.
Pros: The bed was comfy!
Cons: The shower was cold.
Pros: nice room for that price, welcoming host
Pros: A good place for stay and visited Daugavpils. Hostel is small, quite, clean.
Pros: Cosy and clean
Pros: Comfortable, quiet sleep. Hot shower.
Cons: They forgot they said we could store our bags before check-in. However, they solved this problem quite quickly
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: Reception is full of junk, bathroom is dirty, pillows are like filled with stones and you can hear alcoholics and train passing all night long plus they do not speak English. Not for a tidy or family people.
Pros: Good location.
Pros: Good price, easy check in/out, clean and soft bedsheets.
Cons: The smell of the apartment reminds old grandmother’s country house. Very loud traffic in the morning, no toilet papper in the bathroom.

There is a bar and a restaurant serving a wide range of international dishes. Dishes can also be ordered to the swimming pool.
Pros: Not good the breakfast has not good
Cons: Was not clean, photos did not correspond the real situation. Room was extremely hot. Credit cards are not accepted.
Pros: The guy got up and made a decent breakfast. I'll give him that. There WAS free parking. The towel (singular) was pretty good. It was bright. There was a big window. It was quiet. There was more than one outlet.
Cons: Look, I don't want to hack too much on a family-run budget hotel. When I got there the Grandmother left to run the desk and I had a hilariously comical lack of communication which we couldn't remedy. At one point she just ran out into the street to find ANY passerby to help. A short list of other issues: -The shower wasn't cleaned and the two measly packets of soap\shampoo had been used already -The shower hose head was calcified so nine jets(out of 50 or so) shot off in nine different directions. -the bed clothes were dirty. -I moved the sheer curtain to the side to open the window and the curtain rod fell out of the wall and swung down like a pendulum. Fun. -The actual mattress was....unique. -Wi Fi was sketchy. But it was cheap and good enough for a schleppy solo dude to spend a night. FAR from the worst place I have ever stayed.
Pros: Good location, quiet. ATM, SUPERMARKET, PHARMACY OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD.
