You have to pay for parking at the hotel.
Very nice and spacious room! Incredibly happy with the room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Great location. Highly recommend.
Parking fee isn’t great but it helps to feel that your car is safe
Great location, clean, nice, comfortable. Great for families.
A vehicle was broken into while we were there.
Excellent value for its convenient location (on 75 between SMU and NorthPark Mall). It’s a relatively small, 4-story hotel so even when full it doesn't feel over-crowded or unmanageable. It’s been nicely updated so the rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable; the AC works great (we’ve even packed light jackets on subsequent stays) and the water pressure is strong; the staff is friendly and helpful; and the self-serve breakfast buffet was tasty if a bit limited. Note: one big downside is that indoor, secure parking is an extra $20/night and fills up fast.
I believe all rooms have a kitchenette, which is great, but on one recent stay that particular refrigerator/freezer wasn’t working properly and didn’t keep food and ice sufficiently cold. Also, some rooms face the highway and are therefore noisy but the hotel supplies earplugs which were surprisingly effective. And as I mentioned, indoor, secure parking costs $20/night extra (and fills up fast) so if you’re price-conscious like us you should consider that when comparing prices with other hotels.
I checked in and the person right before me was treated courteously and was given 2 complimentary bottles of cold water. The staff member said they do that for all of their customers upon check in. I was next and was not offered water at all. I didn’t mention it at all. I was never given a parking pass either. I noticed a sign the next day that a parking pass had to be on your vehicle to prevent towing. I asked for one and they asked me if I was parking on their property? I stayed for two days. Where else was i parking? When we went to our room we noticed a foul smell. The hallway smelled this way too. It was a sewage type of smell. We let them know and they sent someone to spray febreze and put a couple of tablets in one vent. This did not help obviously. We had to endure the smell for 2 nights. No one offered to change our room. Breakfast was another issue. Half of the food was gone an hour before breakfast was over both mornings. The food was not being turned over fast enough. I waited for fruit and as soon as I placed it on my plate I noticed white mold all over this ‘fresh fruit’. That is unacceptable in my opinion. The two times we went to the pool towels were not available and it was not busy at all. It is unfortunate the hotel itself is very nice but staff can make or break a place and this place needs help.
