Hotel is beautiful but, being historical, some of it is in need of repairs (peeling paint all over the ceiling of our room). The first two floors were under construction, this is more of a mall space and not directly in the hotel but was very dusty and confusing to get to parking garage. The art deco was beautiful, staff was really nice, and location is great.

Staff was very friendly. The amenities listed were all closed- pool, restaurant, bar, valet parking. No parking on site had to pay additional parking on top of hotel fee. Couldn’t get hot water, most of the areas you would want to see for its architecture was roped off with caution tape. I imagine in it’s time it was quite impressive, just a pity all of it was closed or under construction without ...

Pros (+) The hotel was beautiful! We stayed there because we heard it was haunted. Nothing creepy happened, but it was still a great hotel!!
Cons (-) Maybe a bigger bathroom sink area, but nothing other than that.

Pros (+) Location close to Music Hall.
Cons (-) Thought I had upgraded. Room was small and cramped. Only cups in the room were two coffee cups. Bed was uncomfortable. Would rather have stayed at a Hampton. They coul not accommodate us for dinner at the Orchid. Had to eat off property.
