Pros: The staff were great. The design and decor is pleasing and comfortable. A lot of facilities in the room, including Netflix and computer.
Cons: Apart from rooms at the front with big balconies, there is no restful common area to chill out during the day. So the hotel is only good for sleeping, with decent breakfast to prepare you for a full day venture outdoor
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Full of love, nicely staff, good location, if I have to go Chumphon again I would love to be there again
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff- Khun Beer and Khun Noo including the 2 helpers were all amazing! We checked-in at 11pm after (16 hrs of journey from Ayutthaya to Chumpon) but Khun Beer greeted us with her warm smiles get us through the check-in process very fast and smoothly. Location= was excellent. Beachfront indeed...was just really few steps to the beach. Tung Wa Laey Beach has this fine white sand, clear blue and warm water even at 6pm. There are many local and affordable restaurants around. Room- was clean. Surprised us with nice towel arrangement. Exceeded our expectation by having many pillows. Bed was big, soft and so comfy. Aside from whats mentioned in Booking.com's website, the room has huge Smart TV set, desktop, bluetooth speaker, universal mobile charger and to our surprise a foot massager machine! Breakfast - was more than adequate. Baantalay provided almost what any person would like to eat in the morning. 1st table = They've got toast with choices of different jams and spreads. There's a coffee maker aside from the coffee and tea bags o fresh milk and orange juice. 2nd table = ham, hotdogs and dimsum. 3rd table = green salad bar and fruits. 4th table = boiled rice (kai tom). Also, you'll be served with eggs (omelette, scrambled or sunny side up) cooked as you requested. Enjoy the breeze of fresh air on the 3rd floor with sea view from 7:30-9:00. Tour arrangement = Khun Noo managed to call Lomphraya for our Kho Tao tour but to no avail. We ended up with Siam Catamaran Mu Kho National Park 1 day island hopping/ snorkeling and it was breathtaking!!! Unbelievable corals and fish at Kho Ngam Noi and Kho Galoke with side trip to Kho Ngam Yai and Skull Island. Highly recommended!!! Our overall stay was very satisfactory. We'll surely visit here again next year!!!
Cons: When theres no internet connection or it stops when watching docuseries at night...

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast Quiet location Staff speaks little english
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for your money . Quiet
Cons: We got our room on the ground floor. There you have to leave the curtains closed all the time to keep your privacy. Useless TV, staff was unable to adjust. Spider webs. The property is more than 8km away from the main road. You need to have a car and a GPS .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed one night at Chalicha but liked it very much. It has a wonderful vibe and authentic feel. The pleasant pool was refreshing and clean and we enjoyed watching a Thai dad give swimming lessons to his adorable children. The receptionist helped us schedule our 5:30 am pickup to the ferry for Ko Tao. She patiently explained what would happen, which was wonderful since our ticket vendor Samuiferry.com had not communicated that we would first be picked up in a van of 8 people and then driven to the train station to be reticketed, boarded onto a large bus with maybe 40 people and then taken to the ferry. Thanks to our receptionist at Cahlicha we knew what to expect. The cafe host was also wonderful, serving us one of the best fish dinners yet in Thailand. When we had accidentally been charged too much, she caught the error and came to our room to refund us. We would have never known had she not come to us. That kind of ethics and courtesy far outweigh any small negatives like lack of lighting or slight smell in the bathroom a very affordable $25 room might have. I would definitely stay here again but maybe upgrade myself to the balcony room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room with excellent staff
7,9 Good
Pros: Top floor room was absolutely massive and spotlessly clean and everything worked good wifi and a very comfy bed breakfast was also very good plentiful and a good choice too so all in all a good place to stay
Cons: Location is a bit far from everything no places to eat nearby, swimming pool tends to get used by local families with the associated noise that incurs at weekends probably ok during the week.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious, comfy room. Bathroom and shower were great. Quiet location good to relax. Large pool.
Cons: Need to hire scooter to get into town, but hotel organised this for us and it was dropped off within 5 mins of asking with full tank of fuel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, close to center and night market and simple nice and tropical environment. Nice staff, nice coffee and free bikes!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Oh my word. The staff are supersweet . The room was huge and very comfortable. The restaurant was super accomodating. Its just far enough out of town so that you feel like you are in the jungle, but close enough to get stuff done. The bathroom is massive. The outdoor shower is an excellent idea. And I am aware that some people have had issues but I would say, as some one who has used a few hotels in Thailand , its a genius idea. Its big enough to dry off before going back into the aircon room so no freezing to death as you dry off. One warning though, don't leave the little soap outside .. especially if it rains. There isn't anything left of it in the morning. My mistake- nothing to do with the resort. There is a massive tub with a hand shower if the outdoor thing doesn't appeal. They clean everyday and the soaps are replenished so its all good. The wifi is good throughout the resort and everything is clean. Most people pass through Chmphon , but I stayed 3 nights and it was very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.
Cons: Its not a negative...its just that I know people who are not Thai may have some adjustment issues. The place is frequented by Thai families and they are used to certain things. I didn't use the pool because there were naked children in it. I don't have a problem with kids going au naturel... but I know what kids do in water filled spaces when they are . The coffee shop was a fab place to sit and get some online work done. Until a family arrived and a kid deposited himself next to me watching cartoons on his phone with no earbuds. Then there was the family with an abundance of girls singing along to Thai pop songs. I can roll with it. It doesn't affect my perception that the place is a gem . I enjoyed the Thainess. Some people might have a hard time. Chalicha doen't need to change anything... its all good. One negative... one English TV channel. And its a Russian based news channel with an affiliation to Donald Trump.... .

7,0 Good
Pros: Cheap little guest house by the beach. Hard beds, but that’s Thailand! Cute balcony, friendly lady that runs the place. Short distance to the beach strip where food and bars are located. Pretty basic place, but you get what you pay for! Good for a few nights in Chumphon. :)
Cons: Everything was good. Didn’t dislike anything
7,5 Good
Pros: The owners are very sweet. The accommodation is basic but good. Everything is there, and the rooms are very spacious.
7,9 Good
Pros: The price was unbeatable
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was clean and spacious. Located at just 2 minuets walk from the beach and restaurants.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a bar of soap and a bottle of water.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place is great value for money. It seems to be very popular with birders who are in the area to visit Khao Dinsor, which was why I was visiting.
Cons: Not that it affected me, as I only used it as a place to sleep at night, but those who are not here for the raptors may find it a little lacking in facilities, and a little far from the beach (though not too much). No restaurant on site may put others off, too. None of these things would affect those with their own transport. I’ll definitely stay here again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind. Room is simple, very clean and practical if you'd be spending almost the whole day out.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Room was dirty and smelt like urine. Sheets were dirty and someone had urinated in the bed and could smell it through the sheets. The location was in the middle of nowhere. A very very poor experience.

7,0 Good
Pros: Cheap little guest house by the beach.

Pros: The owners are very sweet. The accommodation is basic but good. Everything is there, and the rooms are very spacious.

Pros: The price was unbeatable
