Very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Nice room, good location, aircon, nice food. Good views,
Look a little closer and you find it could do with a little extra attention to detail. The full legnth windows in our room had dusty sills,as did the restaurant on the fifth floor. Chipped paint on the bathroom skirtings, loose toilet roll holder, spot light hanging slightly out of the ceiling, shower screen leaking water all over the bathroom floor. Worst of all, although the hotel maybe can't do much about this, is the lack of parking. Yes, they have some spaces but only a few, which are first come first served. Local parking is readily available but confusingly priced. This is a fairly major let down for us.
Close to racecourse and city centre. Good food in the Bar Brasserie.
No complaints at all
Location, staff efficient , professional appearance & helpful, the restaurants view and good car park
Bed a little too soft, shower splashes out onto the floor & no bath. A number of maintenance issues in room which were reported inc no actual bulb in the dressing table lamp! Fan in bathroom not working making room warm. Breakfast choice was good, service ok & pleasant but food was cool and some over cooked.
Everything was perfect, the location and staff we absolutely brilliant. It was our first anniversary and they helped me sort out some roses for my wife upon arrival. Great night away.
The room was nice although the door to the balcony had no handle so couldn't open that and the bed was small and very soft.
Breakfast was poor. The staff were rushing round yet not actually doing much. We waited an hour to only be served tea an cold toast with no butter or milk (which came brown and we'd ordered white) which we had already had to ask for 2 more times after ordering. We never actually got our cooked breakfast we ordered as we decided enough was enough and left. People around us were sending theirs back and or not eating it. Speaks volumes. Shame!
