Very comfortable with open fires to sit round in both the bar and lounge areas. Lovely room. Very friendly staff. Fantastic location. Great food, especially breakfast.
TV remote didn't work
Excellent big room, privacy when it was needed but help and service always at hand, food was also really good.
More information in the room about the Cotswolds and an explanation beforehand about parking facilities.
Perfect short early Winter break. Room comfortable and food good.
Main restaurant and La Vigna rather quiet so chose to eat in bar, which was very good.
We enjoyed staying at the hotel and it was very convenient for all the other Cotswold villages as well as the shops in Stow. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful choice.
The room(8) was a bit claustrophobic. I couldn't get a hard boiled egg, for breakfast, as requested.
The quality of food was very good; the friendliness and courtesy of the restaurant and bar staff also very good. This is a charming old building with unique 'non standard' rooms - so the floorboards of the room above creaked! However, our room was clean, well decorated and cosy with good furniture and linen.
Unfortunately, during our stay several items of food were unavailable at both dinner and breakfast time. The wi-fi system was also out of order which was inconvenient for me.
The Sheep on Sheep Street Hotel is situated in Stow-on-the-Wold and is close to the area's well-known attractions. It also offers a 24-hour reception, a terrace and a laundry service.
The hotel provides rooms equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a shower. Honeymoon suites are also available.
The Sheep on Sheep Street Hotel has its own on-site restaurant, convenient for guests who wish to eat in. Alternatively, there are a choice of other dining options nearby.
Blenheim Palace and Newbridge are are a 40-minute drive from the hotel. Stratford-upon-Avon and Bourton-on-the-Water are also just a short drive from the property.
