I booked a car in Detroit to drive to Windsor Canada and when I got there they told me they were a small company and didn't allow you to take a car to Canada. I asked them to drive me to another rental car company and they refused. Luckily there was another lady who had just rented a car (and she said they gave her a hard time) and she offered to drive me to Enterprise who were more than pleasant to me and I got a car from them. I will never rent from Executive again. Their building was dirty and far away from other car rental facilities.They could have offered to drive me to another rental facility as theirs was far away from other rental facilities and I had no transportation.

Staff was friendly and pickup and drop off was really easy.Car was listed as VW Jetta and got a Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra was definitely not the same as a Jetta.

Contacted me to confirm statusContact was too late for us to make changes. We were arranging for aq day rental to return to airport, but they only work on airport rentals. Thus, we could not rent a car and were unaware f the requirement to have a roundtrip airplane itinerary. Thus. we could not rent a car and found out 30 minutes before the rental. made things very difficult.

nothingThe shuttle did not arrive for 45 minutes at the airport. I had to contact a person at their office to get a shuttle sent, and no one was in their office until 8am. When I got to the rental center they informed me that I needed to show them a return airline ticket or I could not rent the car I had reserved. Since I had a one way ticket to the destination only, they refused to rent me the car I had reserved. They had never notified me that having a return airline ticket was a requirement for rental. I was forced to rent another car that day at payless, paying $150 more than my original Kayak/Executive car reservation because of the last minute rental. I honestly think I should be reimbursed $150 for the extra fee. This experience with kayak and executive car rental was terrible.

Staff was nice but pickup process was painful. It took over 10 minutes because the staff wanted to know everything from my flight number to my insurance policy. He even called in to my insurance after I told him that I bought the Allianz insurance offered through Kayak. He replied that they don't accept third party insurance and that I had to buy their insurance at 5 times the cost of the Allianz insurance which I already purchased. I am upset about this policy of theirs right oneEither Kayak or Executive Car Rental should be upfront about not accepting third party insurance when customers reserve their rentals

car had expired plates on it. didnt know it until i was pulled over by police. also they would not except the insurance i got from kayak had to purchase there insurance which was alot more money

Renting a junker...Hertz staff are nice and on the ball as usual.This and my last Hertz rental were terrible cars. Both car interiors were dirty and clearly had been recently smoked in despite Hertz policy of non-smoking. The previous one's smell gave my wife a headache each day we were in it. The full-size Nissan I just rented which had exterior scratches everywhere had 44,000 miles on it. Shockingly, it drove like it had 144K on it! The list of squeaks, rattles, and mechanical things is too long to list here. I'm not saying the car is unsafe, but it drove like an old jalopy. Actually, it was kind of unsafe because when you floor it to accelerate onto the freeway it will NOT upshift. So, to make it go faster, I had to lift my foot up off of the accelerator to make it shift up to the next gear and then push again! LOL!

Bad serviceStaff was rude, refuse to listen to customer and was very unsympathetic to the situation on hand.Will not acknowledge the entire transaction citing corporate policy about using same credit card for both the on line and in the store process . I produced the card and told the staff that the issuing bank had replaced the number with a new one after I made the reservation . Gave the employee both cards and my ID along with the service number to citicards to verify, but the gentleman refused to give me the car as a "pre paid " customer and said I can forget my on line transaction and rent the same vehicle as a walk in customer for double the price . I will never go back to this business ever again ... Will make sure to let everyone know my experience as well.

It was a nice car and in good condition. Good on gas - it was exactly what I had asked for and no one tried to talk me into something I didn't want.The people were fine...Christine was really good, but I had to wait over 30 minutes to return my car - there was only one person ahead of me - but Christine was the only employee and she was left to do everything by herself. She had to clean the cars, check cars in and out and answer the phone - which rang constantly! I made sure I arrived about 45 minutes before I had to turn my car in but by the time she was able to wait on me I barely got checked in before my time was up!

A Good Vacation1. When I picked up the vehicle, the representative said that I couldn't return it on Sunday, as they were closed. I told him that I already paid and that we would drop off the car late Sunday afternoon when we were back in town. The rep seemed to push to charge me for another day but finally backed off. He said that they would never allow me to return it on Sunday. That was a plus since I had to return to work early the next morning. 2. The vehicle responded well as we drove in the hills of PA. Good gas mileage. I liked the automatic lift gate. 3. The men in the family were comfortable as they both large in stature. 4. I could hear everyone well instead of the whirring tire noise that we would hear if we took my car.1. The vehicle had sport features, which we weren't used to using. We had a couple of interesting experiences with the shift paddles on the steering wheel. 2. It was not the SUV I thought we rented but it sufficed.

Great car, some staff not-so-greatCar was excellent -- clean and ready to go. Unnecessary stress at initial check-out, but returning the car was quick and easy.Initial check-out was bad. Credit card reader didn't work, and rather than try another one (that particular card reader wasn't working), I was told to call the third party I had pre-paid for the rental (Kayak) and tell them I'd have to use a different card. Finally, I went to a different clerk further down the counter who simply ran my card on her card reader and it was fine. The whole encounter added another 15 minutes of unnecessary stress. I had also noticed the customer in front of me having a similar problem with the same clerk.

Dirty CarRoomy, great on gas and was very comfortable for long trips.Car was dirty when we picked it up. After paying over $300 for a rental, I expected the interior to be vacuumed and dusted.

I didn't rent when i got there they tried to give me a Toyota and i had upgraded to a 200 i work at chrysler not driving a foreign then they tried a jeep bu5 had a hard time starting i said forget it and canceled the rental thanks anyways. Dave
