The staff at the location seemed to not have the support that they needed. At the Hertz Tampa Downtown at the Marriott Waterside Ryan, the agent at the desk was very helpful. When we arrived, there were no cars, as their supply had not been brought to them in the morning by the Herz at the Tampa Airport. Even with this difficult situation, he was able to get us a car when one arrived, about an hour later, after it had been dropped off at the hotel and was cleaned. Ryan kept a friendly helpful attitude throughout the process and resolved everything fully for us, which started off a nice weekend on the right foot.

I was not able to rent from the car reserve location at Marriott Hotel, D/T Tampa. I will never use Kayak for a car rental reservation again. No service personnel at the hotel counter and waited far too long.

The rental company wasn’t at the airport. I was told it was. Big pain to get car and return car. Will never use you again. You try to make it look like such a great deal and really your just avoiding the airport taxes. I’d rather paid more and been able to get car at airport.

Took too long to get rental. I think it was around 20 minutes. Car still had cleaning wipes from previous rental or the cleaning crew left them in the car.

Overall, nice car & drop off was super easy. We paid for a full standard car and they provided a small SUV, which was appreciated. Price was way more of a value than picking up a rental from the airport.A little confusing finding the Hertz desk - we didn’t realize it was located on the 3rd floor of the Marriott. Would recommend them adding Marriott hotels to the address line.

When arriving at Hertz at the Tampa airport, and waiting inline only to find my reservation was for another Hertz across town. Hertz moved my reservation to the airport location but I had to pay 3 times the amount. Pay attention to the rental address when you book!

They did not have a car available even though I had a reservation. Customer service told me "too bad"

The employees did not show up to work... when went back to the airport per hertz customer service rep and spoke to the hertz counter there, the manager Shu, told me oh well nothing I can do... went back to the off airport next morning it wa sto be open until 12 and at 10 there was still no agent at the counter... hertz did nothing to help ... will never book through hertz in future , would rather walk
