The gentleman who helped me when I had to go to the Frisco location in order to get an SUV.The gentleman at the Rockwall location when I dropped off the car was unhelpful and accused me of causing damage to the vehicle that was there when I picked up the vehicle just because I could not locate my pink slip.

Staff was incredibly friendly.Car smelled like smoke. Also was told to return with half tank but car had closer to a quarter tank.

They wouldnt come to the doorI arrived 2 minutes past closing time. I could see the workers inside the office and knocked on the door. I can see them looking up at me but they would not help me. Would not open the door or answer their phone. They must have known that they had a car reserved. I called customer service and all they could do was refer me to a branch too far for me to go to. It seems these people have no concept of "Customer Service" or just making a little extra effort to provide quality .And now I have lost the fee for insurance even though it was not used

It was suppose to be 44 a day and the total at check out due was 194 that’s 4.5X the amount we were suppose to pay. It’s ridiculous.

The staff was friendlyI wasn't able to get a car the morning of my pick up. They called me a few minutes before my pick up time to tell me that they didn't have my car or any replacement alternatives. I had to go with another company on the spot since I was driving a bunch of people to a wedding.

There was nothing to like. No vehicle available....Had to make other last minute plans.Could have held people to their rental period agreement and pick up the vehicles that were nit returned when they were due.

Make sure you return clean! We had furry blankets on our trip which left a little fuzzy, and the jerk tried to tell me it was going to cost 400.00 to clean. And check engine light came on upon returning home. I will never rent fro Rockwall Hertz again and tell my Government coworkers the same.

Worst car rental experience of my life, and i have rented lots of cars over the years!!! I should have trusted my instincts with this car rental nightmare! Making the car reservation was fast and easy through cheapflights. Everything else was a horrible experience that i wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through. My first contact with this hertz location was when I called to find out the location and the lady who answered the phone was Johnnie. Shre was very short and very rude to me, as I only asked a few questions. I thought no problem maybe she was having a bad day, was I ever wrong! The next day when picking up the car my wife and I found the location which was in a service area for a Ford dealer in Rockwall When we found the correct area for Hertz I noticed two people in a glass cubical I poked my head in and told them my last name and I was here to pick up a car. The lady looked up me and told me to sit down that she would get to me when she can, okay! We sat down and about 10 min later she called me into to her cubical to go over the details. Even this this lady Johnnie was very unfriendly and seemed like she hated her job! We both couldn't wait to get out of there. When done she said that they will bring the car in front of the service department. Twenty five minutes later the car arrived. We looked over the car with the gentlemen who brought the car to us and he also took photos of inside and outside the vehicle. We did notice some scratches all around the car and made note of them, to the man that was helping us. Finally we were done, almost an hour to get this car, which was very long time considering we were the only customers there!!! Anyway the trip went well which was a trip to Arkansas to pick-up my wifes mother from a assisted living home to another one the dfw area. We only have two pickup trucks ourselves and that was the reason we needed to rent a car in the first place so she would be comfortable in the back seat. Monday the 21st of September at noon my wife and I brought the car back to Hertz, which judging from our last experience we both were not looking forward too! My wife arrived there first and went inside to return the car. The Hertz employee johnie told my wife to wait there that she would bring her a receipt. I was already outside in my truck waiting for my wife so we could leave. After a few minutes I noticed the Hertz employee johnie still in the car. I got out of my truck and went to the car and asked if there was a problem she stated that someone smoked in the car but she could not speak to me that I had to speak to her manager who at this point I had never met. I went inside and spoke to him and told him that was impossible that neither of us smoked and we did not smoke in the car. I stated our passenger (my mother in law did smoke but she did not in the car because we made several stops on the way home for her to smoke then. By this time I was getting very mad especially when he said they were going to charge my credit card another $450.00 for smoking in the car!!! I told him to show me evidence in the car where we were smoking. He said there were ashes all over the interior and it smelled like an ash tray. We both went out to look at the car and he looked and looked and the only thing he could show me was on the outside of the car that the rubber on one of the windows had ashes. I looked at what he was showing me and I could not tell what it was but I know for a fact that we did not smoke in the car. And he kept insisting that we did. I had to leave because I DO NOT LIKE BEING CALLED A LIAR and it was best at this point to go before I did something I may regret later! So yes they charged me an extra $450 but fortunately it was on an American Express card and i immediately called them and told them about this situation and they insured me that they will fight these thieves and not to worry. Im not worried at all because I know we did not do what they said we did. but I'm still so mad, in fact very mad and will stop at nothing to tell others about the thieves at the Rockwall location of Hertz! SO DO NOT GO THERE TO RENT A CAR YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO OR JUST MAD AS HELL LIKE MEHONEST EMPLOYEES THAT DONT TRY AND STEAL FROM HARD WORKING CUSTOMERS!

As soon as we pulled off we noticed the tire pressure was low the check engine light came on and another dash light we called and the man told us it probably just needed a oil change we got our destination and the gearshift wouldn’t shift after the car turned off we were stranded several times and 90 something degree temperature and they wouldn’t exchange the car for us I will never rent from them again
