Josh at Hertz was a total professional, from check out, to extending our rental because our work truck is getting the motor rebuilt and is not going to be completed for another week. Liked how quick the rental process took in Sacramento. Also the return was very quick in Reno.Cons:
Only thing I didn’t like was that when I rented online through Kayak, Kayak set up my reservation with an Enterprise NOT at the airport, so the Enterprise location at the airport did not have my reservation. Thankfully, there was car availability and Enterprise was able to almost match the original quote.... so always check to ensure the rental location even if you put the airport as a location.4,0 Mediocre

Mini-van was roomy and fuel efficient - credit to manufacturer only, NOT Avis.Cons:
Maintenance of vehicles is very poor. The minivan I was provided had severely high tire pressure. Rear passenger tire had such high tire pressure, the sensor warning light came on. Upon checking, tire pressure was at 80 PSI!!! Max tire pressure is 51 PSI and recommended pressure is 35 PSI. The tire was so over-inflated that a crack formed all the way around the outer wall. We are lucky the tire did not explode! We are very lucky to be alive. Avis needs to do a much better job of looking out for things like this before giving to renters. We are extremely disappointed!10,0 Wonderful
