1) They are NOT on-site at the airport - you have to take 3 minute van-ride out to the avis car rental center. Not a big deal, but if you are expecting a curbside pickup of your rental car, you will not get it. 2) They move REALLY slow at the front desk to get your pre-paid, pre-booked car ready. We waited for 40 minutes, for what i've got done in 7 minutes in other Avis centers 3) The Car was rather worn out, and beat up, and was not worth the COST we paid for it.4,0 Mediocre

Our quote from kayak was less than what hertz charged us on the spot in Providenciales. Even though we had a confirmation showing the correct price, hertz did not honor this. The agent at the Hertz counter was also very rude and unwilling to help us reconcile the charges. Overall, will not use Hertz again.2,0 Poor

The staff was friendly and the pick up was relatively easy. The car was old and worn but I expected that as this is a budget rental. There was no one there for the drop off and I had to just park the car and drop the key. They charged me an additional $25 for something but I can not find out what it was. No answer on their phone. The car also had a loose battery cable and it would not start at least a 1/2 dozen times until I opened the hood and reconnected it. I had no way to tighten it so it continued throughout the rental periodCons:

The staff charges a $20.00 fee for “pick up and drop off”, absolutely ridiculous. The car was not vacuumed upon pick up, it smelled like horses manure, and drop is super confusing. I have literally never had such a bad experience with a rental. I will be submitting a claim with my financial institution for the extra $20.00 fee which is nowhere on your website.3,6 Poor
