Manager was kind and apologetic when car wasn't ready at pickup time in Passaic. And he was extremely helpful when I returned the car. I will definitely be renting from Passaic again based on his excellent customer service.Cons:

Friendly staff. Affordable rate. Very easy to arrange. The only complaint I'd have is really not specific to Enterprise. I wish there were quoted prices for all the extras as well. Paying so much more for things like insurance is underhanded. I want to know the TOTAL cost for everything I specifically want (extra driver, etc.) BEFORE I book a reservation. Purchased insurance with rental online for $45 total. Upon arriving, the had no cars ready, drove us 20 minutes out of the way to another location, then said they don't except the insurance I paid for and that I lost that $45. Then told me they charge $45 per day for insurance!! In all we paid $415 for what was sold online for $130. DISGUSTING PEOPLE.Hertz

Pros:
We rented an SUV for a large family vacation 6 hrs drive up north. We got a call at 8pm the night before stating that the SUV wasn't available and someone made a mistake. They offered us a sedan instead. We told them this was unacceptable, we have a sedan, it's not big enough. Then they tried to get us to pay $15 more per day for a larger SUV and refused to work with us. Only after calling corporate did they start being accommodating. The next morning I called to make sure everything was in order and got told by the girl on the other line she wasn't sure this was going to work out. She had to talk to her regional manager to make sure it was ok. She would call me back. After this we called corporate and canceled the car. My wife called Enterprise and they gave us the exact car we originally requested, for almost the same price, within 30 mins.Cons:

Cons:
We were given a Mustang because they ran out of vehicles. That may sound like a nice upgrade but not when you are driving across the country during winter. I then tried to swap vehicles once I made it to my destination like they promised me I could. To confirm this I spent 45 minutes on the phone and was assured they had ample vehicles. Again I was let down because they were unsure what to do and was stuck with the Mustang on the way back.2,0 Poor
