Cons: Booked the car showed up they didn't have it for Saturday. Told to go to another one 20 miles away the next day for pickup. I drive there and it is closed.

Pros: The drop-off was smooth
Cons: I waited nearly 45 min at the pickup after having done the reservation nearly a week in advance.. they needed to put gas in the car and to wash the car.. all while I was there waiting... that was their excuse for taking so long at the pick up... after all that, the car was still dirty on the inside.. not what I'd expect from this company... in addition, the person that helped me was pushy with trying to sell me the insurance when I told him I had my own.. even after I'd told him about my insurance, he still tried to sell me their insurance with a 10% discount...

This is sort of a scam
Cons: Kayak encourages you to buy insurance through their own venue, without explaining that this is separate from the rental company insurance. So unless you know how this works, you end up buying redundant policies.
