When you rent a car, the expectation would be that you would get the car you chose. Not my experience. I didn’t rent a compact vehicle because I’m a larger guy and I didn’t want a Mitsubishi after several bad experiences. The only car available was a compact Mitsubishi that looked like it was rolling on 2 spare tires since it was missing hubcaps. I will say that while the car was frustrating, the manager was understanding of the situation and offered me a discounted price and a tank of gas. I could tell he was embarrassed and did what he could. If you rent an available car, you shouldn’t have to deal with that car being unavailable, and you shouldn’t have to be downgraded.

We did not even get the car. The man behind the counter informed us there was not a van available even though I had booked it 3 months in advance. He wasn't even willing to do his job and help get me into a different vehicle. He acted rude and too busy to help me. I will never use Enterprise again.
