KAYAK
my license expired in 3 days and i would only rent it for a day, meaning get it with an active license and return it with an active license. They have a policy of not allowing to give a rental if the license expires within 7 days. Same day i picked up a car from Toyota and i had no issue.

Pros:

Yes the agent was extremely polite, considerate and helpful. Staff went out of their way to help set up bluetooth GPS and even provided a phone holder for my iphone.

Cons:

Changes to pickup and dropoff times were not very accommodating. Charges to change were extremely high.

Cons:

Unable to get rental because I didn't have a Georgia drivers license, mine was from another state. Also was not made aware that I couldn't pay with a debit card like you can with other rental car companies until I was at the desk. Will never attempt to rent from Hertz again.

Pros:

Tony the manager apparently was power hungry. No place to park vehicle in return lot. Upon return, I went inside of airport to get my receipt. He asked if I parked in a lined space. I stated no, he said you will be fined 400.00. I went back outside and moved the car to long term parking, no clear directions where I needed to park. I have pictures where a lot of customers left their cars in unlined spaces. Upon returning inside, Tony asked if I have the mileage of the car. Back outside to get the mileage. This location is not customer friendly.

Cons:

Customer friendly staff and clear directions.

The counter in Albany is great, the woman was very nice and quick! However i will not use this company in the future.The car I rented tire spontaneously burst(there were no glass, nails or debris in the tire Once removed but the thread was visibly showing) once I was 4hrs away from home. I thought it would be no issue because I got the insurance. I was wrong. It happened at 8am I called at 11am and after talking to upwards of 5 different people, being transferred a million times(because no one could answer simple questions such as is this a covered expense) and hung up on several times, and lied to about a service technician being dispatched to me. I finally got someone dispatched at 6pm and was told it would be 45 minutes. It took over 2 hours for the technician to arrive. This entire time I am stranded in an area I am unfamiliar with. Once he finally arrived to change the tire we were forced to drive 40 minutes away for a replacement but due to the spare we were only able to go 50 MPH so it took us over 1.15 minutes to make it. Once we arrived to get the replacement, the clerk asked what was wrong with the vehicle, which we explained, and at which point he began laughing as if us being stranded upwards of 12 hours was funny. All in all I would never recommend this company nor would I use them again.
