Pros:We made a reservation for 1pm and they let us pick up at 11am
Cons:The manager did not give me my cooy of the rental contract, which made me feel like he could have done something fradulent. He pressured me to buy rental insurance by threatening me with scare tactics. The manager did not complete a vehicle inspection, which shows any issues/dents/dings of the car. After I returned the car, I was afraid they would bill me for something I did not do. I will never return to this Hertz and do not recommend it to anyone.
Pros:The drop off Hertz in Duarte was able to take the car very quickly. No hidden fees. And I was on my way quickly.
Pros:Car feels very new. I could still smell the new car smell ... I'm surprised that the rental car would rent out a pretty new car.
Cons:the pick up and drop off time is very limited. For working people like me, 6pm cut off time was pretty early as I didnt even get off from work until 5:30. I have to leave early just to pick up / drop off the car.

Cons:Thrifty is crooked -- no business competing head to head with the majors. FALSE ADVERTISING: exact same rate minus $1 vs competitors, BUT Thrifty DOES NOT include LIABILITY like all the others (I had to pay $12day), AND Thrifty has a mileage cap -- NEITHER of which was discoverable at time of booking, no thanks KAYAK!!! My $60 2-day rental wound up costing me $127, plus $25 in lyfts going the extra distance to the branch location. I am a sucker -- don't you be too! Hertz may seem $10 or even $20 more for comparable, but it's still a deal if you're going to drive more than 100 miles per day and don't have your own car insurance. To top it all off, the crooked guy who handled the return tried to gouge me for an extra 5c per overage mile -- he pointed to excess miles at 40c/mi and i said waitaminute, it's 35. he said, "no that's what he told you..." except i hadn't said he'd told me, he was just trying to get away with it. then he said "ok, i'll put it back..." again, admitting it had been 35c until he tried to gouge me on the spot. by far the most bare-bones rental i've ever gotten, at twice the usual pice -- not even power windows or locks!!! Absolutely crooked -- BEWARE.

Pros:The staff, both when I picked up and when I returned the car, were professional and courteous. Especially important during these pandemic times, the crew at the Enterprise made me feel comfortable. I will definitely come here again when I need to rent a car.

Cons:The car was filthy. I was told that it was being sanitized but when I took it hope I wiped everything down with Lysol wipes. It was soooo gross. I hope I don’t catch Covid 19

Pros:Brandon was nice, but the rest were a bit rude. They didn't try to help me with my flat tire, which I had to replace myself. I had to pay out of pocket and they would not pay me for it. They waived my rental fees, but not for the tire replacement. I'm not happy with them. I will never rent from them

Pros:I reserved my car like everyone else did, show up to pick it up and was ready for my vacation I had long for waiting and planned only to be rejected because I didn’t have a major credit card. I was totally humiliated and embarrassed in front of my daughter because it was her birthday weekend and I had let her down. My money is no good or what? I don’t have a Wells Fargo bank account or any other Big Bank account of that kind. I do own a credit card but it seems like your system doesn’t take it. I have well over $10,000 in my bank account. Isn’t Visa a major credit card. My credit card has a Visa logo on it and it works everywhere I make purchases. If the system didn’t take my credit card then why did you guys charge me $22 to reserve it? This was Avis, I’m probably never going back there again nor am I recommending them.
Cons:The staff could of made calls to headquarters or something like that to help out and resolve my situation. They could of also reimbursed me the money I was charged because I didn’t even get to see the car I had reserved. I could of gotten a heads up about the credit card issue and I would of made up back up plans at least.

Cons:I was hoping to get a Ford Edge but sad to know they only have KIA and other korean made cars can be selected.
