Pros:Vehicle was cleaned, No wait.
Cons:Have the vehicle full of gas, let people know there’s a 300 hold fee on top of your rental fee that will be held on your credit card. Went booking on kayak, provide additional insurance information if selected.
Pros:When I arrived for pick-up, there was a little delay, which is understandable considering there was only one cleaner doing all the cars due to the outbreak. The staff communicated with me throughout the wait to assure me they didn’t forget about me. Afterwards, they gave me a free upgrade to a JAGUAR!!! Will definitely go back to Alamo @ CAK.
Cons:Hire more staff (if it’s possible in today’s climate)

Cons:I purchased the third party insurance for the car, and Alamo advised me that it is worthless. That policy doesn’t cover the car, and they would have to go through my car insurance if something happened. If I had just paid Alamo directly, it would have been covered bumper to bumper . Scam.
Cons:Car continuously stalled when I tried to get a new one they said I had to go to a dealer and that they were closed on Saturdays So I could not get it delivered to me

Pros:Everything was smooth. Pickup took a little longer than I expected.
Pros:The car was comfortable, and overall great. We were taking a long road trip, so the MPG and comfort-ability was great.
Cons:The pickup experience was really rough. We called to change our reservation to 9am, it wasn't changed. As a result, we had to wait for the car to be cleaned. There was also a $200 charge that we weren't informed about. The person helping us was incredibly rude, both on the phone the day before, and in person. When I showed him the insurance policy through Kayak (allianz) he said he didnt know what that was and that it wouldn't cover our car. So we paid for another policy. When they got done cleaning the car about 30 minutes later, the FOB didn't work, he didn't inform us until after we signed. We told him that wouldn't work, as we were going out of town and would feel more comfortable with one. So they gave us another car, which literally took almost a full hour. They also marked that the tank was full, but it was only at 3/4 tank. When he was informing us of the insurance, we had to ask literally 6 times if it covered bodily harm, which he finally said "I mean, yeah.." It didn't. The pickup was fine, the guy helping us was nice. However, when we walked in after almost a 12 hour road trip, the guy that was cleaning the cars looked at us like we were trash, and scoffed. I thought this was maybe just this location, but my sister rented a car the next day through Hertz in STL, and it was almost the same experience.
Pros:Car was even ready early so I could pick up early. Very clean and everyone at the counter was very helpful. Smooth ride as well.
Cons:Tank was only 3/4 full even though they said full
Pros:Customer service worked with me to exchange my thefirst car given to me.
Cons:Had to exchange the first car that I was given due to worn out, noisy rear tires. Then the second car I received, I had to replace the windshield wipers. They were completely wasted and were unsafe in the rain. So that was extra money out of my pocket that I shouldn't have had to spend. I traveled over 1700 miles so what else was I going to do? The agents at the local store are unknowledgeable and they could also have more than one agent working. There were quite a few people in line waiting. Also I was almost charged twice for my rental, which I prepaid for in February. I had to tell the agent and until he actually read his screen further, did he see that I did.
Cons:I was charged double for my car rental, to my credit card.
Cons:They did not honor the price given on the website because of my credit card. I didn't complete the rental.
