I booked our car 3 months ahead of our trip. Called 2 weeks prior to our trip to confirm we did have a car and they confirmed we did have a car. The day before our trip, they called and said they were closed on the weekends so we would not have a car! They also said they were calling "as a courtesy" and were not required to call us!!!!!! That left us stranded. Found out they changed their hours a week prior to our trip but they never bothered to call us until the day before. And then to have the audacity to tell us they were calling as a "courtesy"!2,0 Poor

At Koloa, I had to wait 40 mins for the girl to get back from lunch before being helped. Betsy didn’t know what she was doing. She didnt know how to fill out the contract when I had papers clearly showing the break down of my charges. Said there were no full size cars available (which I paid for) when there was7,2 Good

All car hire companies are reached by courtesy coach from the airport so none based there. Still quite expensive to hire a car at Lihue but thoroughly worth it.9,6 Wonderful

Very helpful local staff. Concentrated on good service rather than trying to sell us silly extras we didn't want. Generally behaved like Hertz used to years ago. Funny that Enterprise has become the new Hertz.Economy Rent a Car

Car smelled like cat pee almost from the time we drove out. The operation was very small and not what we expected from a front line car rental company - obviously contracted out. Not much inventory to pick from and I felt the professionalism was lacking - would never rent from them again. Gave us an uneasy feeling in regards to the paperwork we were given in the onset.3,6 Poor

Our car had major issues. It was 13 years old with 100,00 miles on it. Windshield wipers didn't work, it started to overheat while we were sightseeing, the whole car would shake violently when you braked and the transmission was slipping gears when accelerating from a stop. We were picked up by our friendly driver who was happy to answer any touristy question. On our way to the rental company, he called the guy in the office to get our car ready. The process was very speedy.Cons:

Pick up and drop off went very smoothly. SUV was adequate and handled the island's roads very well. We had a late arriving flight and the office stayed open past normal hours to accommodate our reservation.Cons:
