Pros:The reps at the counter in Tyler, Tx. were courteous and extremely helpful. Their enlightening advice about the rental car business will forever be appreciated.

Cons:Kayak reserved an unlimited mileage on a Premium vehicle. We called ahead to find out Enterprise in Tyler doesn't even lease Premium level and not at the unlimited mileage anyway. Enterprise has a business model to tell you what you want to hear and then you get there and they don't have what they tell. Happened to us and another customer while we were there.
Pros:Price was very good for a holiday weekend. Compact car, but very roomy. Very happy with the car in every respect.
Cons:The young man who assisted us at pickup seemed brusque and unfriendly at first, but warmed up later. The young woman who helped us with our return was swamped with returns--there should have been someone to help her. (She did say her help had just quit that day.) She, herself, did great! She was cheerful and calm with all of us even though there were lots of people waiting to be helped and more came in as others left.

Cons:They had a storm the previous night and had no cars available to rent. I made the reservation that morning yet the lack of cars was not reflected in my search.
Cons:I rented a small car to accommodate 4 people. The rental place rented our car out before we got there and the only car available was a Camaro. Hertz did not want to do anything to help us because I explained there would be 4 people riding in the car. They could not do anything for me. The car was very uncomfortable for a 6-hour drive. It would be fine for a 20-year-old but for our age, not the best car.
Cons:My car was not available for the 2nd week in a row. I had a reservation for a car weeks in advance. I went on my lunch break and they told me I'd have to wait 3-5 hours... How am I supposed to pay for the car if I can't go to work. The only thing the representative could "do for me" was put me in a luxury vehicle for an extra charge a day. Not my problem, guys. I should not have had to pay extra for that. Ridiculous. I just went to cancel my next trip with them due to change of plans for this weekend (it's 5 days away) and they want to charge me $50 cancellation fee. I'm sick of it. Not using Hertz again...
Pros:It was clean and a smooth drop off with no problems. The unlimited miles was great and it was a dependable car.
Cons:The vehicle was a 2017 Nissan Altima a mid size care not a full size that I wanted and payed for. The driver seat was very uncomfortable there is no way you can lower the end of the seat which made the back of my leg soar. There was not a whole lot of room. The first vehicle the manager brought to me was a Toyota Rav4 wasn't to bad but the outlets didn't work so he brought the Altima. I was running behind from having to come back and switch cars. They also don't state you haft to put $200 deposit down.
