The vehicle was comfortable.Waited in line for an hour. Only one person working behind the counter until 15 min before my turn. I did not ask for a giant Dodge Ram truck. I signed up for an economy size car. Was told I had the Managers Special. BS. Parking lot very poorly marked it was difficult to get to where the vehicle was, it was too far. Signage unclear as to where to leave the vehicle.

I had to wait an hour for a car to be available. Then it was a huge car when I had reserved a small one. Gas price was double what I would have paid. No attendant at the return with only a very small sign to tell you where to go with keys.

The reservation was there. The drop off after-hours was simple.The vehicle I reserved was not available and I was given a much larger vehicle (pick-up truck). I waited in line for 30 minutes with only two people in front of me. It took the representative 10-15 minutes per customer. I was not able to do submit the walk-around information because the agent did not answer the phone.

I really enjoy using Priceline, but certainly hope I NEVER have to use Thrifty again. Had to wait in line for over an hour waiting to return the keys. Had to wait an hour to pick up the car the previous day.There needs to be faster service at the check in and check out at the Charleston Airport location. There was one person behind the counter with about 10 guest in line. No other car rental dealer had that many and they did not take that long to process the customer. Need to have more employees and a faster process especially when the customer has a reservation already. The employer behind the desk was working as fast as she could but she needed help!

We never got the car. Dollar had no cars available when we arrived. The attendant kept saying they were washing the cars and one gentleman in line had been waiting for over 2 hours for his car. I will not recommend Dollar to anyone.

We reserved a car rental 3 months out from our trip. When we arrived, the staff at Dollar said there were no cars available and could not guarantee us a vehicle until another was returned. They couldn't say how many vehicles were scheduled to be returned and when. They placed us on a waiting list and said they would call. Then, I was informed that because we were "late" for our reservation (plane was delayed) we were bumped to the bottom of the waiting list. They said they couldn't tell us until 5pm if they had any vehicles turned in. That was 4 hours to wait with our luggage! Then we called back at 5pm they said that they had nothing available and no other Dollar rentals had cars. They said it was in the fine print that this could happen. We ended up booking a car rental through Hertz for 2x the quoted rate but at least they were willing to help us salvage our vacation. Not booking through Dollar ever again.

Nothing to like when you get to the airport and the Dollar rental company tells you you have to pick up your can on an off- site location which closes at 1pm and my reservation was for 1pm and I was standing on line since 12pm and there was nothing they could do, no other cars available only in 24 hoursHorrible experience - how can you accept a 1pm reservation if the place close at 1pm ? Kayak should know it better

Better communication about the $90 "Airport fee" they don't tell you about until you're there at the counter, the first car we got in hadn't been cleaned yet, they called us about getting something refunded & need our card info again but haven't been answering and their voicemail is full...so we definitely will never rent through dollar again.

Staff was courteous and helpful.If a client wanted to extend a rental for another day, I don’t believe they should be charged more of the same airport fees. There could be some, but not all of them that are charged for one day. I was forced to walk all the way back to the terminal to return the keys and check the mileage because there wasn’t any representative at the booth to drop off the car. I do realize it was rather cheap to rent from your company, but a representative should be there to check in and check out guests by the cars.

Headache-free RentalPick up location.After purchasing the 3rd party protection insursnce, the Enterprise agents said it wasnt the best idea to go that route. They offered (wanted me to purchase) their in-store insurance, which I did. They advised to cancel the 3rd party I insurance. Of course all of this is happening as I'm dealing with everthing else and i never got around to calling the 3rd party to cancel. So basically I paid for two sets of coverage. My point here is if you are going to purchase the additional insurance, wait until at the counter; it was basically the same price.

Living up to the longstanding reputationThe staff at Enterprise are always so good at staying positive and handling things quickly and efficiently. The crew at this location were no different! I had to put my car in the shop unexpectedly and I needed a vehicle capable of handling the duties of my small business for several days (delivery of small goods to several locations). Chuck and Ray were on point with their customer service and made everything a breeze, from picking me up before my rental to dropping me off after, I couldn't have asked for better service.Not applicable!

Nothing.After signing a contact saying the tank was full, it was not. It was less than 3/4 of a tank. Vehicle was trashed. Cups, a hat, papers, etc. from previous renter. Remote wouldn’t lock the doors

The staff was doing the best they could with limited resources.We were able to book our vehicle to be picked up in one location and dropped off at another (the airport). At the end of an hour long wait/pick-up, we were told that the car had to be returned to the same location. This resulted in having to return the car early and a $25 Uber ride to the airport.

I mean, I would call a Kia Sorrento a full-size SUV. We moved our luggage from a RAV-4 and it barely fit in the Kia. Moving from a crossover to a full size SUV, you expect a little bit more room. Maybe you should clear up with your partners what is considered a full-size SUV. When your site says a Nissan Pathfinder OR COMPARABLE, no one expects to show up and have to drive a Kia Sorrento.Stop lying to us about the cars available. I could have gotten way cheaper rates for a Kia Dorrento booking direct or using another service. Massively disappointing.

no car! It was a third party rental , as we found out at the counter and for just $600 they would rent us a car after having already paid for a car.. We were unable to reconcile the account and went to a friendly competitor to rent a car

Nothing because they bailed on the reservation.The staff texted me 3 days after the rental reservation and two days before I needed the car to tell me they were overbooked and they wouldn't have anything available for me. I had to contact Priceline to get my insurance deposit back again. Definitely wasn't helpful to have the car pulled out via a non official text message on Saturday when I needed the car Monday. I ended up renting from Hertz directly from their website instead of using Kayak or Priceline.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. The Avis rental car location in North Charleston, SC is not where you want to go. The owner actually raised his voice to customers complaining of his bad day as if it was their fault. Left shaking without renting a car.

DisappointedWhen I reserved the car, the web site mentioned that they also accepted debit cards. When I went to pick up the car, the clerk told me that without a major credit card that they had to run a credit check on me. That was not mentioned in my confirmation email. I know that my credit rating is not very good. I realize I had to put a deposit and had the funds in my account to cover it. It was a big inconvenience for me to not be able to rent the car.
