The car was kind of a POS. The a/c didn’t work, and it happened to be one of the hottest days this year. When I dropped it off and told them about it, Ema made it right by discounting my rental due to the inconvenience. I was satisfied! 5 star service

No midsize cars, got a compact SUV, car rental was 15 miles from airport with no shuttle. Cost over 75.00 to get back and forth to rental location. Just not a good experience.

Car was dirty outside and inside. Crumbs on the seats, gum stuck on the back of the headrest of the front seat

Price was right......manager on-site worked with me to get issue resolved.

Cons:

When I reserve a car a 2 weeks in advance and call night before to verify reservation, it would be nice to actually have a car available. Need to call customers ahead of time to let them know there are no cars available so that customer can make alternative plans and not waste time driving to location.

Was given to me without any gas and it smelled like cigarettes my 8 y/o has asthma and the whole way to south Florida he has was having difficulty breathing. .

Pros:

Drop off was easy but the pickup was a major issue. 2hr wait and didn't get the size vehicle I paid for. Also, the vehicle had sensors going off, brake lights didn't work, and got the car on empty gas tank.

Cons:

Better support, customer service, and coordination. Reserved a month in an advance and got treated like I just reserved the prior day. Will never rent through Hertz again.

ANT INFESTED Truck! Worst rental car experience ever! The people helping at the counter were extremely rude and incompetent. I rented the truck so I could drive 7 hrs to GA to check on our rental after the hurricane. As I’m driving I notice ANTS EVERYWHERE! My son and I had to pull over and spend an hour in the rain killing ants. We were bitten several times. There must have been a nest because we couldn’t get rid of them. I almost got into 3 accidents because of ants either biting me or crawling on me.

speed in picking up the vehicle was very good. We had a few minor issues with the vehicle. When I mentioned to the agent if she was interested in hearing about these issues she said no. How can they be repaired if the agent isn't interested in hearing about them?
