Price was right......manager on-site worked with me to get issue resolved.When I reserve a car a 2 weeks in advance and call night before to verify reservation, it would be nice to actually have a car available. Need to call customers ahead of time to let them know there are no cars available so that customer can make alternative plans and not waste time driving to location.

Car was good on gasWas given to me without any gas and it smelled like cigarettes my 8 y/o has asthma and the whole way to south Florida he has was having difficulty breathing. .

Drop off was easy but the pickup was a major issue. 2hr wait and didn't get the size vehicle I paid for. Also, the vehicle had sensors going off, brake lights didn't work, and got the car on empty gas tank.Better support, customer service, and coordination. Reserved a month in an advance and got treated like I just reserved the prior day. Will never rent through Hertz again.

Staff was friendly enough and process was fairly fast.Cleaned the vehicle! We found a rx drug bottle with depression medication under the seat. Which means they did not throughly clean. There was a missing Matts n the car and bits of sand and food in the seams of the seats.

The staff was friendly and helpful at pick up and drop off.When I put in to pick up a car at Sanford Airport, I expect to pick up my car at Sandford Airport. I do not expect to be told that my car is 15 miles away and it is closed. They took care of me there, but Hertz or Kayak needs to clean that up. I was not happy.

Guy at counter tried to over charge by a lotQuick in and outGuy tried to charge over $500 bucks but luckily I was paying close attention. Car was little rough with almost 40k miles.

The drop off was easy. The car was filled to half when I got it. So i didn’t need to put much gas in.I do not like the notice that I am still responsible for the vehicle after drop off since they are closed. I was basically coaxed into dropping the $9 Allianz insurance and purchasing their $25 a day insurance because apparently Allianz would not cover me quick enough in case of an accident.

Wanted a deposit , even though I was paying with aWalking out, without renting the car. They aren't worth the hassle.Having to leave a deposit on a rental transaction, on a credit card. The guy assumed my payment method. Didn't ask. They really judge a book by the cover.

No heat in a winter stormThe heater went out half way through the first day. It was 11 degrees when we arrived at our destination. We had five more days without a heater in winter storm Decima.

speed in picking up the vehicle was very good. We had a few minor issues with the vehicle. When I mentioned to the agent if she was interested in hearing about these issues she said no. How can they be repaired if the agent isn't interested in hearing about them?
