The desk was not manned at all. The car we got (which we did not notice until morning), was completely unacceptable with the front valance broken and dragging on the ground and TAPE along the windshield seal. This car should not have been in service.

The only thing with the drop off was i was unclear about who and where i should drop off the vehicle. There wasn't an Alamo in Killeen TX airport. So i had to call to see what agency I was supposed to use.

Leaving early = terrible customer experience15 hr plus delay due to weather website shows counter close's at 1030pm local, we arrived at 1015pm and no one was there thus costing me $150 usd for a taxi to round Rock. If I was the manager I'd fire those people as there were 4 other groups in my situation.thanks for nothing alamo!

Due to extreme weather conditions in TX The flight was cancelled. I had to cancelled the reservation. I had to make about 10 call to cancel. I was not giving an answer for the cancellation. Poor service at best.Handle customers.

Staff was excellent and explained pick up and drop off so that I had no problems with eitherIt doesn't say which car you are getting and mune was like driving a gocart. Very rough and very low to ground. I ahouldve swiyched it out with something else equivalent.

Nothing.Staff very unhelpful. Had a reservation for over a month and upon arrival at airport they had no cars available and was told it could be 30 minutes or 4 hours before they might have a car and it may not be the size I had reserved. Staff could not have cared less about customer service.

Waited hour and a half to be told they couldn’t rent us the vehicle due to mechanical issue. Shouldn’t this have been checked upon previous return?

Prepaid 5 days in advance and did not receive the car class reserved. Reserved full sized truck and received a compact suv. Customer service was poor. Waited 15 minutes at counter for employee to return.

Week Long Stay In TexasI liked that when I landed in Killeen, Texas I was able to take care of all the paperwork and get my car keys right next to the luggage pick up site while I waited for my bags. The car was well maintained and the price i was charged was reasonable. Dropping it off did not really present any hassle either.

Budget totally screwed up my day. I reserved the car for 24 hours at 9 am. They put in the fine fine print somewhere that if you aren’t there within 15 minutes they cancel the reservation. So my flight doesn’t get in until 945 and there was never a 945 option. Then they said well we don’t have your truck but we can give you another vehicle for extra money. Total rip-off. Yeah they can put something in the contract that just totally screws you but is that the right answer. I think not. Will never use again

The staff was not helpful. They did not have the vehicle or a similar one available for my reservation. The clerk stated she wasn't sure about the seating capacity for the vehicle she tried to pawn off. I told her I must have seating for 7 as was reserved. We walked around the parking lot and she showed me that the vehicle I wanted was on a doughnut and they couldn't get it fixed until they had 5 flats to fix. I drove an hour to pick up this car. She offered a 12 passenger van that looked like a church bus or a Highlander with seating for 5. Neither was acceptable. She didn't care that I had already driven an hour to get the reserved vehicle. She stated they called and left a message, but the number they used was not the number on my confirmation and I never received it. She made no attempt to make the situation better or offer a remedy other than a car that was too small or a tank.The agent at the Killeen Airport was not courteous or helpful in any way. When I got upset, she seemed to think it was funny.

Car was fine when I finally got itI booked 4 different reservations and was not able to receive a rental until 3 days after I made my first booking. I showed up after my flight landed and was told my reservation was canceled because they had no vehicles. How was I able to reserve one (4 different times) only to show up and not be able to get a car? Made my business trip start off extremely inconveniently.

Car was clean and up to standard.Customer service representative was too busy to give individual care. When she tried she gave policy information but not personalized care. Due to this I hesitate using or recommending Budget to my family or my company and friends.

Like it never even happenedThere was nothing to like because the location was closed when my flight arrived.Booked the car, flew in late, and closed leaving me stranded at the airport late at night. No where or no time was the hours of operation given when booking the car.

My car was prepaid, flight was delayed, called Dollar and no answers, arrived after they closed and was told by Priceline that Dollar would honor my rental if I went back at 8 AM. Wrong and Im out $70 in taxi fees.

It was a quick in and out, both picking up and dropping off. The person I dealt with was very pleasant.The instructions on the documentation on how to complete the transaction when dropping off the car were inaccurate. It talked about a drop box, but there was none. It did not mention whether to leave the keys in the car or not.

I reserved a rental car at AVIS through KAYAK. Then had someone drive me an hour to find that they had no rental cars available. Could not find a rental from any agency within two hours of my location in central Texas. I ended up renting a 20 foot UHAUL truck for $300 plus another $100 in gas just to drive 6 hours away. Maybe I dont understand how reservations work, but this experience has not been great from KAYAK or AVIS. My recommendation would be to skip KAYAK then just call rental car companies from the location you are going. A reservation number from the rental company is almost always guaranteed. A reservation from KAYAK or some other 3rd party deal finder is not guaranteed. Good luck.

Couldn't Rent A CarAlthough they took my debit card to reserve the rental, they would not accept it when I went to pick up the car. This is despite a $3K limit on the card. Should have been informed when reserving the car!
