I booked a pick-up truck for moving some work equipment. The move required coordination from three different businesses, and everything was scheduled about a week in advance. A couple of hours before I was supposed to pick up the truck they called me and told me they didn't have any trucks available. I understand that sometimes people bring vehicles back late and there's not much to be done about that, but that didn't appear to be the case here. It sounded like they never had one and just waited until the last minute to tell me.

The credit card that I used to book was recently stolen. Hertz wouldn’t allow me to charge the $200 security payment on a different card and made me cancel this car… and make a new reservation with them which was double the price! There was a total lack of respect for the situation.

charging my credit card for a car i didnt rentmade a reservation for the fourth when I got the confirmation it said the 5th so I called them right away within 5 min . they didn't have a car for me so I cancelled she told me I would not be charged then I received a email they charged me 33.13 for something I never rented and was there fault. I am very upset and would not recommend do business with this company

Quick and EasyI called Hertz at 5:40 because I was running late. . I had to be there 5 minutes before closing. Chelsea was nice enough to have started the paperwork so the whole checkout took 5 minutes. Awesome!

Last Minute Cancellation of My ReservationI received a phone call 2 hours before I was to pick up my rental car cancelling my reservation because she was out sick and the reservation system "is run by corporate and does not know what our availability is". I was forced to rent a car with another company at twice the price because of the last minute reservation. I will never use Hertz or Kayak again.

Dirty, RudeThe second employee I worked with was courteous & helped me change my drop off locationThe first employee was rude, wouldn’t believe that I already made a deposit (I had to call orbitz & have them tell her I was telling the truth). She tried to make a new reservation where I’d have lost my deposit but I caught her and told her no. She was very unprofessional and argumentative. The car wasn’t cleaned out from the previous driver... some nasty stuff including a slimy latex glove still in the back

DisappointedThey could’ve called me a day earlier to tell me that I wasn’t able to get the rental for that weekend instead she waited until the morning of that day to let me know that I’m not able to get it. I panicked for a sec because my group was already all set and ready for the trip that weekend. I called Enterprise in Chico instead and they’re the MVP! Worked everything out and I was able to get a rental last minute.

Customer ServiceAshley at the Oroville Location was wonderful. When I called with a "my gas cap is missing" she was quick to let me know this year Ford does not have a Cap. We laugh and she said have a safe trip. Thanks for a great experience Ashley. Stacy M. Paradise, CA

Great little car that got good gas mileage.Zippy little Ford Fiesta that was spotless inside and out and was fun to drive, with great gas mileage to boot!
