The hotel was in the old center of town and a not-too-long walk from the train station.
Because it was hot, we needed to open windows, but the noise from bars made sleeping difficult.
It was very central, the breakfast was lovely. The staff were kind and accommodating . Spot on service for the price
I would have loved some decaf coffee in the morning .
The staff was lovely
The room was very hot
Great location and very nice, helpful staff
The room was fair sized by French standards. That is a plus. There is nothing to like about a place that needs a coat of paint, has lights that go on and off while you are struggling to walk upstairs in the dark- I don't like elevators the size of a sardine can. The staff where, however, very nice.
I didn't like the no frill attitude. Less than no frills. I am not a big fan of plastic and do no9t see why the TWO cups in the bathroom were plastic. Save the planet!!!!. The ONLY other 'frill' was a couple of pairs of ear plugs because this hotel has the noisiest street in town right outside. It was a vey cold night, even thought it was May. I need hardly say that there was no heating. And the Wi Fi kept cutting out. The pillows were the wrong shape for a tall man and there was no choice. A notice said you had to book a space for your breakfast. No need. There is cheap cafe right outside.
