Pros: We didn't want to drive in Italy so the location of the hotel was important for us so we could make the most of our stay. This hotel has an excellent location .. across from the train station and bus terminal. Also it is 5 mins walk to the port for ferry connections to the Amalfi coast & Capri. Our room looked out onto the main square in front of the train station but there was no issue with noise even though it was busy outside most evenings. The room was comfortable , clean & had air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. Hotel is located on the main street so great for boutique shopping and some very nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent - cold cuts , fresh crusty rolls, juice, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, sweet pastries, croissants, boiled eggs, fruit. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Great stay...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was the best hotel during our stay in Italy in July 2019. Very close to the railway station. Like less than 100 meters. Not far from the port from where the ferries leave for Amalfi and Positano. 10 minutes drive / 2.5 Kms from the port from where ferries leave for Capri Islands. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms sizes were good - could easily move around and were not cramped. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast simple but very good
Cons: nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: Not much for the price.
6,0 Good
Pros: It's centrally located to the Salerno train station and Salerno port to the amalfi coast. You use this hotel to simply drop off your luggage, sleep and showrrz
Cons: Hotel wifi is non existent. The interior could use a new paint job and carpet. It's an older hotel. Don't expect luxury.
6,0 Good
Pros: I've been to this hotel twice already. It's a good location to simply sleep and shower. Very basic but clean. Walking distance to port.
Cons: The hotel needs to upgrade its wifi service. It's non existent. You can only pick up the signal in the lobby.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Great location - very close to the train station and town center.
Cons: Parking in the area is very expensive - take the train if possible
8,0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived to the room it was a perfect temperature and though there is no bell boy, one of the workers was kind enough to take my luggage to my room, as the lift was quite small. I was very surprised to find a box of chocolate left for me as it was my birthday ( I mentioned it when I called them as I did not go to town to celebrate, so they were very kind). The facility itself has no restaurant or bar on site, but the location is wonderful, few minutes from the railroad station, steps from the sea and just on the corner of the pedestrian area where there is plenty of food and lots of mid to higher end shopping for everything, as well as small eateries. Great for who wants to travel light and buy new clothes :) as well as fun for window watching. Also convenient for those who want to arrange one day bus tour to the Amalfi Coast or even walk to the old town (it's worth it) and see the old Duomo. The owners of the Tabacchi store at the railroad station seemed to be very knowledgable as far as what tickets to get. I realized that Salerno can be very windy, so it is a good idea to bring along a scarf of sort.
Cons: Minus for noise and lack of personnel. Also, the breakfast wasn't the greatest. Just across the street I found a wonderful coffee place with fresh pastries that would have been much better. The staff did not seem very informed about amenities in the areas, but I ended up finding a Spanish restaurant and had a great burger (was really missing it!). The bed was comfortable, but nothings special. The noise from the street was noticeable, but it was over by 8 or 9 pm. The room was large enough, but no real work table. I had to make sure to ask for a coffe/tea maker prior to arrival, as they did not have one and the fridge was poorly stocked. There is a little grocery store in the pedestrian strip where one can buy milk or wine, bread and everything else needed for a sandwich and more should they want to take something to eat in the room as the hotel does not provide food service. Breakfast can be ordered in the room the night before. There is no cable tv, for the solo travelers who prefer to stay in at night. Just enjoy your free wifi.
6,7 Good
Pros: Good service and very clean Very close to station and shops
Cons: Room very small and bed uncomfortable.

Pros: Marco is a great host, friendly and helpful
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beach location and good value for money
Cons: Works in progress
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was big, clean and nicely decorated. Marko was super friendly and gave us lots if travelling advice. Other members of staff were also very friendly. Breakfast was typically Italian. There was a parking spot directly in front of the guesthouse. The location is perfect. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Marco and his group were wonderful on all counts and helped beyond our stay there with advice on next leg of our trip.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent in choice and freshness.
Cons: The room was a bit tight.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This a lovely family owned b&b. Ten minutes walk from the harbour or train station with luggage. On arrival checked in by friendly staff, who made us fresh coffee served in a lovely inner courtyard. The room was clean, air conditioned and freshly renovated, with a large bathroom. It is located on the beach. It is a warm and welcoming place with that family touch. Will stay again.
Cons: Nil
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful accommodation very comfortable with friendly staff right on beach
Cons: Booked balcony & was not available on arrival. Problem with shower.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room is a little small, like the majority in older European areas. But very clean and with good closet area. But the great thing is how the owner, Marco goes to any extent to make you feel comfortable. When we arrived there wasn't a place close to eat and we did not wanted to start driving. He did something totally unexpected...he cooked a dinner for us!!! And a very special one. Mr Marco..."you are unique"
Cons: Maybe the air conditioning

8,5 Excellent
Pros: I like how much information was provided regarding tours and transportation in the area. Having a shuttle to take you to the center of town was great and the drivers were all nice. Breakfast in the morning was a plus.
Cons: The first night, a sliding door that separated two sides of my room got stuck, locking me in from the exit. It took a lot to get the door out and I had to change rooms. Then the sheets in the new room had been washed in detergent with a strong scent (which was a first for me regarding hotels) that made me nauseated. I couldn't sleep in the bed. I was given a bottle of champagne for the troubles, but I felt a refund on that night would have been much more appropriate given it was terrible all around. Also, the lounge restaurant menu leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't change for lunch and dinner. Also, they charge you 3 euros for the cover that was on the table during the free breakfast. When I was asked if I wanted water, I wasn't told that I was buying a whole bottle of it for 3,50 euros. Additionally, everywhere else I ate for prices like that, they served some small dessert-like snack after the meal and offered limoncello at no extra charge. Here, nothing. I ate at a expensive restaurant in Le Sirenuse and didn't pay for the cloth covering the table. I learned why I didn't see people eating there for dinner. While I liked the hotel in general and the rest of my stay, I wouldn't stay there again if I go back to the Amalfi Coast, which I plan to do in a couple of years.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was my favorite stay on the Amalfi. It's a great place to relax and still be able to do day trips if you have a car. The customer service is outstanding, the breakfast is great, and the beds are really comfortable. Enjoy!
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The area was very quiet and close to the center
Cons: When I want to walk to the centre the sidewalk isn’t good for walking
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, pleasant efficient stall, comfortable room.
Cons: No complaints.
6,3 Good
Pros: The shuttle bus that was laid on by the hotel was very helpful. The room was spacious.
Cons: Booked with the opinion that there was a hot tub on the balcony, this turned out to be completely freezing cold. The food was extremely over priced for very average food. When I made a complaint about the hot tub it was stated that they would look into it with management they never did. I paid extra for this facility and was un impressed.
7,1 Good
Pros: Our room was very spacious and clean. We had a bath and a shower, with the room equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed having our own little jacuzzi pool and deck chairs outside which we were able to relax at when we had days off from touring. This hotel is definitely for couples that want relaxation as the position is quite secluded.
Cons: The menu is quite limited and for us, we stayed for 7 nights and 8 days. In terms of 5 star dining, personally some of the dishes don’t deliver on the 5 star rating.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Amazing view. Kind personal.
7,0 Good
Pros: Beautiful views, friendly staff.
Cons: So much sound comes through the walls!
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Restaurant was cold and reduced the nearly perfect feeling with the view; Food was ok
9,0 Excellent
Pros: First line view to the sea. That's just absolutely stunning. Perfectly clean.
Cons: The only thing was that we could hear too well the rooms next door
5,4 Okay
Pros: We definitely liked the view on the sea and on the port of Vietri. We also liked that there was a parking spot included in the price.
Cons: The acoustic is very bad. We could hear everything from the corridor, from the room next to ours and from the room above ours... people talking, tv, water... We also did not have the wi-fi connection in our room during our stay, which we notified the reception about, but they could not fixe and did not want to give us any discount or whatsoever, even symbolically, saying that there was Internet at the reception and that we could use it. We did not need their money, but it is more about customer care and their approach to their customers which definitely has room for improvement.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Only the view
Cons: The room was stinky with a strong stench coming from the bathroom to the point of asphyxiation. The room was so cold and the old heater was producing more noise than heat. Walking on the tiles without provided slippers was a punishment. The front desk was unhelpful and cold. The breakfast was in small dark room even though they have huge beautiful terrace on such a shiny day. It was only a big disappointment for such a costly room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful seaside from my balcony and the room very clean

Pros: Very centrally located, all sights, the promenade and plenty of good restaurants just walking distance. Nice room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Cons: Minibar stocks not refilled, as well as the coffe cups in the room. Breakfast was good, but not a wide variety to choose from, and no changes from one day to the other. We stayed four nights and always got exactly the same options for breakfast.

7,9 Good
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room.
Cons: 1. Toilet without heater so it is quite cold in the winter. 2. No parking lot. 3. Breakfast is not as good as expected. 4. Expensive...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location of the hotel in the center of Main Avenue. The design of his Christmas window display in which the entire lobby was lit. The holiday atmosphere that was in the streets lit by lots of lights, music, people walking the streets, the delicious restaurants and finally the huge Christmas tree placed in the center of the avenue. Breakfast was excellent and rich in choice and delicious pastries
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, rooms
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff: Since the first moment staff has been phenomenal - super friendly, super flexible, super helpful. Facilities: newly refurbished. really comfortable Location: in between train station and historic center. 2 streets away from seaside. Safe area, situated in the main shopping street of the city. Will be back: best choice in town
Cons: Nothing really, maybe just increase breakfast choice, but it a negligible point compared to the whole experience/stay.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the pedestrian area which our room faced. This might be noisy in high season but wasn't a problem for us.
Cons: Our room was very hot so we had to leave the window open (in January).

Pros: The lock to our room was broken. We discovered this problem when we return from dinner. It took more than 45 minutes to be able to enter our room 611. We were offered to change rooms but I had already unpacked. The air conditioning did not work either, we had to open window in the middle of the night. We told front desk in the morning. On positive , breakfast was good.
Cons: I summarized above.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Free parking
Cons: We found dried blood on the doona just before going to sleep, when we told the reception the next morning she said it was our fault for not letting them know. We should of called them, but we were so tired and ready to sleep. She made me feel bad for letting her know too late! Value for money was terrible, small room in the middle of no where. We have been travelling for 4 weeks in Italy and in comparison to a lot of other places, this was one of the worst.

Cons: Beds too soft. Bed position too low

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant for our evening meal was excellent and the staff delightful. Breakfast was included and was generous. The beds and pillows in our room were hard and needed to be upgraded. Otherwise it was a lovely building with a cool 1960s vibe. The views of the coastline where beautiful. It would have been lovely if on arrival we been offered some refreshments as we had traveled from afar. This has become something particular that we have noticed from several venues we’ve strayed in recently.
Cons: Again the beds were uncomfortably hard and the pillows too. The linens were fine.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb views and great location. The lady in Reception (Alexis?) was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with her suggestions and assistance. Very happy.

7,5 Good
Pros: Location was great. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: The food. We had dinner on the first night, food was very poor as was the breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent
Cons: During the off season all the restaurants are closed so you have limited choice if you do not have a car
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Well located between the village and beach. Good access to the Amalfi and Cilento coast roads. Very clean sea front room.
5,1 Okay
Pros: The view from the balcony was amazing and you can hear the water and waves all day and night which is very relaxing
Cons: The hotel is old and run down. Window was broken and the door frame seemed like it was about to fall apart. There is only 1 chair in the room so only one person can sit on the balcony at one time. It would have been nice if they put 2 chairs and a small table to enjoy the only good thing this hotel has to offer. Getting to the hotel is near impossible if you don't have a car. The taxi's are hard to come by and they cost 15-20 euro for just a 5 minute ride anywhere. It's 20-30 euro for a taxi to Salerno. It's a 20 min walk uphill to the closest bus station that only cost 1 euro to get to Salerno. They seem to only rent scooters when they are "in season" which would have been the best way to get around but with no scooter it's not easy.

Pros: Espresso and cappuccino at breakfast very tasty. Approximately 100 meters from the sea. Nice restaurant close by and lots of locals enjoying the beach, breakwater and promenade on a sunny Sunday in October. We checked in after enjoying the drive and view along the Amalfi coast from Sorrento to Salerno.
Cons: A little too many irresponsible dog owners not picking up after their pets on the promenade. The MacDonalds Restauant does not complement the Italian ambience very well.

7,9 Good
Pros: Booked this Hotel at the last minute as a previous accomodation was unexpectedly cancelled by the owner. Was a little worried for the lack of an elevator but all the rooms are on the floor above the reception. The lack of elevator was not a problem for us. The property while not new is super clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was very nice and included a good variety with something for everyone. Freshly made coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate etc was a very nice touch. Free parking behind the building was not a problem for us and the property can reserve a spot in the garage if need be at an extra cost.
Cons: Property could use some updating especially the wall paper. It looks like it has seen better days.

Pros: Very nice people.
Cons: OK in English, but could be better. But in town nobody speak english so mabe it is not fair to expect good english.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The amazing room
Cons: I liked it all
4,6 Okay
Cons: Music of the bar behind all night long
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This was slight but quite adequate. A bus driver had broken a wheel off one of our cases and the manager wired it back on and gave us a lift to the railway station when we left. This was a great help and not offered by the other two hotels. The hotel had its own restaurant, coffee etc, and is excellently positioned for seeing the great sites and gardens of the city. A most helpful staff.
Cons: Once we had brought in the chairs from the balcony we were well set up for comfort and convenience as the weather was quite cold although sunny
6,7 Good
Pros: Good location and large room.
Cons: The hotel is above a bar. My room had music noise all the time.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast service was amazing! Also, the pizzeria is fabulous. Great location if you want to visit Salerno and its historical center.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really helpful. Local Pizza was excellent. If you have celiac disease or food allergies this is really good choise.
Cons: The Irish Pub downstairs had music and karaoke bit too loud. A bit too many stairs to 3rd floor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent! Wonderful service! Came right out to our bus and greeted us as we arrived, with warm smiles and helping hands. Check in was quick and easy, and we were walked to our 8 rooms. Wow! The rooms!! Each one beautifully decorated and unique, brightly colored mosaics and tiles, large comfortable beds, terraces looking out onto the city streets, quite spacious and very clean. The breakfast was lovely, and although it was a October, just a few nights ago- it was really warm, summer temperatures - so we were so happy to see a Clima(A/C) that was working and not turned off for the season! We had 18 days in Italy, and this was one of 4 hotels, DEFINITELY one of our favorites! The location is walkable to the Concordia Ferry, taxi’s everywhere, food everywhere- from McDonald’s to the numerous restaurants around- and ESPECIALLY- the restaurant at the hotel. We had a traveler who was quite sick to the stomach- the folks at the hotel went out of their way to care for her- went in the kitchen and MADE chicken broth soup especially FOR HER! 25 minutes later, fresh homemade soup was brought to her door! I have been inspired to create a new trip, where my groups will stay in Salerno for 7 nights, and we will stay in this hotel!! Can’t wait to return.
Cons: I liked everything! Slept like a baby!

Pros: Proprietor extremely friendly and helpful.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location is super. Park your car & walk to everything in Vietri. Also, rooms with a view have fantastic views. Hotel is in very quiet of town.
Cons: Always rough around the edges. Light in bathroom mirror broken & was just an empty socket. No hooks in bathroom. Ledge at window in shower hadn't been cleaned in very long time. Breakfast sub-par -- how in Italy do they find fresh fruit that's truly horrible? Extremely poor value for money.
5,0 Okay
Pros: This is a family owned place which is struggling in the present economy.
Cons: I hate to write reviews like this but I must. The Hotel has become quite run down and is suffering due to lack of improvements. It's priced for locals mostly due to proximity of the beach but isn't a place you necessarily need to stay unless you want to be on a vey busy route to the beach , which is quite filthy and not regularly cleaned. The hotel also was dirty and getting to our room was a challenge with our luggage. Tried to charge us 50 a day to park until we showed him our booking. The general description also says free parking. Most if not all of the room amenities were missing and the floor was quite dirty. For the price (about twice what it should cost), stay up town and visit the shops in the old town where the tourists can be found. the patio in the pictures has been given over to the family and is not kept up. Luigi is a great guy and means well so I hope he can return this place to its former glory.

6,0 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The services and cleaning, regarding the paid amount it shoud be better.
3,0 Mediocre
Cons: The room smelled of old smoke and of a spray to cover it up. It was located on the 2nd floor directly over a strong air-conditioning outlet, which made a horrible noise all through the night, blowing fumes upwards (the tops of the palm trees were being blown by this 'wind'. It was impossible to be on the balcony. The room was incredibly hot, the temperature set for 26C and it was not possible to adjust it. It was impossible to have the window open because of the noise from the vent as above. Staff was not that bothered about changing the room either. Not pleasant stay at all.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Vero close to the sea !
Cons: The coffe from the coffee machine. But this is easy solvable asking to the waitress for a cappuccino, that is excellent !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: ⭐️Perfect hotel, beautiful views, they helped us out with an extra night
Cons: The pool cost an extra €5 per person plus you needed a cap - which you can purchase for an extra €3, the temperature could of been a bit warmer.

Pros: Cozy place
Cons: Breakfast was just cake and pastries
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Hotel had a very nice restaurant overlooking the ocean. Very beautiful. Great dinner and breakfast. There was parking and elevator.
Cons: We visited in October 2019 and there weren't many restaurant open during this time of the year. However Hotel Bristol had a great restaurant and breakfast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the terrace
Cons: The shower substandard Nowhere in the world we had to pay for water and coffee in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, a great sea view from a spacious balcony and the dining floor.
6,3 Good
Cons: Very old structure. Only 1-2 floors are renovated. It doesn't correspond at all to a 4 stars hotel. Very poor breakfast!
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving was the best thing about this hotel
Cons: Mould in the shower , dirty light above our heads , bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the rudest most disgraceful person on earth at reception and the theft of our money after telling us our card wasn’t working due to internet and taking cash only to find out the card was charged . Pool shut because it had sand in it apparently and they said that is unhygienic, obviously mould is Ok !! They would not open the gate for us to leave so we had to walk up the steep hill on the road to get to the bus instead of through the car park , even after telling us they would open it. Not one TV CHANNEL in English , gave us a taxi driver mobile who charged us €40 euro for 15 minutes drive . The restaurant sells shrimp spaghetti that has 2 small shrimp and spaghetti for the equivalent of $30 Australian . At least Faulty Towers was funny but this place is expensive €310 for 2 nights with even trying to charge €2 to make coffee in your room ! Not to mention the breakfast of room temperature ham and cheese with bees on it and no toaster and no juice . I would not present that breakfast to a criminal in jail let alone serve it up to paying hotel guests. Worst hotel I have ever encountered , I would rather sleep on the beach than ever stay somewhere as bad as his ever again . I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me to !!!
