Cabin crew decided to make sure that the seat belt sight was on for most of a 3 hour 45 minute flight preventing pax.to use the facilities and then giving me omg when confronted with the situation. They should bear in mind that if there would be any human waste on the seats it has to be treated as biological material and removed by a hazardous material team.
In flight entertainment system including wifi were down and passengers got tortured for the 16 hours flight without any of these. Food was spoiled as well for the first meal provided but second meal was Ok. Overall a horrible experience which was not at all expected for such a long haul flight which was expected to be THE most memorable part of my planned trip for family.
I traveled to Singapore for 5 days, I didn’t receive my luggage until the 3rd day. When I received my luggage was broken which they fixed it supposedly. I never had such a poor experience with the any other airline. I honestly think it should be a compensation for all of my losses and suffering that I went through.
Could hve been cheaper
i booked vegetarian hindu meal for my flights from delhi to hong kong, and hong kong to los angeles. on first flight, they said that they do no have my meal information. thank fuilly some veg meals were still left and i could eat. However, on second flight they game me hindu non vegetarian meal, and I ate shrimp without knowing. pathetic.
The staff were excellent considering it was a jam packed flight. We had to wait nearly an hour for our baggage to appear on the carousel. That was a real shame.
This wasn't even a Cathay flight, it was Lufthansa and I didn't earn any asia miles
Same with previous comments
I booked this through Travelgenio and requested a cancellation due to COVID related impact. Their customer service was absolutely terrible and they informed me after the flight had departed that they could not cancel my ticket. Worst experience, will never use them again. Strongly reconsidering using Kayak in future given how poor the travelgenio experience has been.
Cons: The flight delay could have been announced over the speakers
Pros: Non-disruptive 15-hour red-eye flight from Hong Kong to New York was appreciated. Smooth and comfortable flight, no complaints here.
Cons: In-Flight Wi-Fi was not available once reaching the continental United States.
Pros: Everthing was up to the mark
Cons: Everything was satisfactory
Pros: Everything was amazing
Cons: Everthing was great
Pros: Meals, comfort, and crew all above average.
Cons: Nothing really
Cons: It was too hot in the plane.
Pros: Customer service is amazing!
Cons: Keep up the great work!
Pros: Great food, entertainment options and personal space
Cons: Crew left something to be desired. Didnt check on anyone or "make the rounds", I had to get up and seek them out. Went almost 12 hours between meals and seemed annoyed when I asked for food
Pros: The seat is comfortable.
Pros: Staff was great and very helpful
Cons: If they didn't change my flight for 2 hours earlier.
Cons: I wish there was air conditioning. It was very warm ok the plane.
Pros: Food and beverage
Pros: Late departure but kept informed. Food good.
Pros: Boarding was quick and easy. Blankets and pillows were ample and already at the seat.
Cons: Food was worse than what I had come to expect from Cathay Pacific. Drinks were less frequent. Restroom facilities were not well kept over the course of the flight.
Cons: Misdirected at upper entrance.
Pros: A great flight with friendly staff, comfy seats, good food, and great inflight entertainment.
Cons: The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate.
Pros: Great service
Cons: N/A
Pros: Great crew
Cons: N/A
Cons: The fish is terrible - no matter it is regular or low salt meal.
Pros: This flight left nearly an hour late, which at 1 AM really hurts. The crew were ok, but the flight seemed understaffed, and our service in premium economy was pretty ordinary.
Cons: Total gong show getting to our connecting flight in HK, but Cathay Pacific got us there with only seconds to spare.
Pros: Seats were very comfortabe
Cons: Food was not great. It took over an hour for the bags to come through at JFK.

Cathay Pacific is a global leader in transcontinental and controls operations from its hub in Hong Kong. It serves more than 45 countries and flies to every inhabited continent apart from South America. The airline appeals to a wide range of customers from across the world, with scheduled flights based around most major destinations.
In 1998 it partnered with Qantas, British Airways, American Airlines and Canadian Airlines to become founding members of the oneworld alliance. The association helps Cathay Pacific link to a broader global network, using their gateway destinations in North America and Europe to reach smaller cities. Customers can benefit from smoother transfers on connecting flights. Additional destinations are available in China through the carrier’s subsidiary Cathay Dragon.
To accommodate long-distance transcontinental routes, Cathay Pacific operates an entirely wide-body, dual-engine fleet. A combination of Airbus and Boeing aircraft are used. Following on from being the launch airline for the Boeing 777-300 series, it continues to be one of the largest operators of the aircraft in the world. Several of the fleet are decorated in a dark grey oneworld livery, while others feature the company’s logo on top of a dark green base.
