Byron Bay is only 65 km from the hostel. Both private and dormitory accommodation is available. All include fans, heaters and access to shared bathroom facilities. Secure lockers are provided in the dormitory rooms. Free luggage storage is available and guests can self-cater using the shared kitchen and BBQ facilities.
Pros: Gorgeous views of surrounding hills and forests. Beautiful location.
Cons: Think you need a car if you want to go out in the evening. Shuttle bus goes down 2 x day, but latest you can come back is pm. Because it,s it so isolated there, no lighting and it,s an uphill walk. Didn't get to go to 'Bush Theater' or Farmers Market. It'd be a idea to arrange little trips for guests, even if we had to pay. There are not enough mugs in kitchen... we were all constantly looking for one. My friend bought 5 at a Op Shop...and donated them!
Pros: The staff were helpful. I got to see a bandicoot up close. It must be semi tame as it showed no fear of humans. Rise early and you'll see wallabies grazing near your tent. The hostel is nicely laid out, with palms and bromeliads. It is a bit of a hike to get to the hostel, and the YHA have a shuttle bus goes to town t
Pros: The staff were amazing; very friendly!
Cons: Love the care that goes into the place!
Pros: Great staff, great views, great facilities and LOVED the atmosphere
Cons: The fact it was so far from everything. Even a grocery shop.

Pros: It was very clean and neatly presented. Love the new modern look of the room I stayed in and the bed was comfortable, which is a big plus. Will stay here again.

Pros: Room quite, spacious and comfortable
Pros: The staff, location and overall comfort of the property was what was needed after travelling and working a long day.
Cons: Could not fault the room, it was comfortable, clean and had a good night's sleep
Pros: Our rooms were as described, clean and the location was good for our overnight stop.
Cons: Sadly no breakfast was available when we were there. It seems that the owner was away but it was surprising that staff couldn't provide even a simple continental breakfast. Even if they couldn't, it wouldn't have been difficult to contact me in advance so that I could have bought some provisions on my way there. Also, there was also no milk available as the milkman hadn't called that day. Again it is surprising that staff couldn't use their initiative and buy some.

Pros: Great choice for a Continental Breakfast..............................oh, and GREAT coffee!
Cons: My room had a Disability Show, so the water went all over the bathroom floor. I understand why it did. But I have made a mental note to check that my bathroom, next time, has a standard shower (NB : I do not have a disability)
Pros: Very clean, very comfortable, have stayed twice now.
Cons: A little noisey in the morning with tradies leaving their rooms. But that’s to be expected.
Pros: Clean. great location was staying for work. Short walk into town.
Pros: Great location, well presented property and rooms. Very friendly staff. Very happy to recommend.
Pros: The room was clean & provided a restful night’s sleep
Cons: Fluffier whiter towels, slightly larger car spots, better tea & coffee making facilities, larger fridge & shower door to stop water pooling
Pros: The staff members, overall comfort of the room was appropriate to our needs and the location and accessibility of the property to our work site was great.
Cons: It wasn't advertised that there was no daily clean and it would have been nice if at the very least that the towels were changed considering that being workers, we needed to have at least two showers a day, one in the morning and one at night and the towels were not able to dry between washes.
Pros: It was clean, safe, convenient location, undercover parking and polite staff. Would definitely stay again if needed to.
Cons: Probably a little expensive for one bed for one night, but I don't stay at motels very often.

Pros: Carpet was comforty and clean, location good, staff nice, room clean, more spacious than expected
Cons: Shower kept going cold hot cold hot cold.
Pros: Its central to what we need. Basic but very comfortable. Its had a nice much needed freshen up in the rooms.
Cons: Its a small minor thing but it's not right when you are told it is one price and then charged another (even if it's only $1-$2 more), it's just the principal of the matter really.
Pros: The beds were comfy and it was nice and clean
Cons: no spare pillow Tv lost reception a lot
Pros: The bed was good
Cons: No information in the room, Basic toiletries
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfy and it was very quiet, allowing the chance to sleep well. Location is great.
Cons: The bathrooms need a good detail- mould was growing around the window and the window ledge in the shower would have benefitted fro being wiped. The lighting in the room was very poor- bedside lamps would be useful. Hated the sight of dirty ashtrays outside a lot of the rooms.
Pros: Central location, clean and comfortable. Good value for the price.
Cons: Would have liked a little more cutlery e.g a teaspoon, maybe a couple of plates (we ate off the saucers). Would also have appreciated 2 glasses.
Pros: Comfy bed, quiet, convenient location, nice typical motel room. Competitive price. Had a good night's rest.
Cons: Took a while to get reception staffs attention on arrival.

Pros: Location andavailability
Pros: Staff, location. Well positioned
Cons: Chairs were very uncomfortable. No padding left.
Pros: The whole set up was pleasant & comfortable. The people were agreeable. The food was not, though the chicken shop nearby did the job.
Cons: Can't complain
Pros: A central location in the town, the room was relaxing and quiet
Pros: It was all I needed
Pros: Big room
Cons: Carpet could of been cleaning. Toddler get on finding little bits of dirt
Pros: Not a lot sorry. The owners were friendly enough but I didn’t like the room much at all and it was very untidy
Cons: The dirty cigarette butts in pot plants on the ground just about every where you looked on the entrance area. The smell of the room on opening the door. The door scraping (awful sound). The bed doona cover was not clean. Some pillows where stained. The towels smelted funny and I didn’t like the colour of them. The bed was old and uncomfortable. There was kids shoes and socks in a draw (not sure how long they had been there). No screens on the windows as to open for fresh air. When i stay anywhere the thing I look for the most is a good clean bed and bedding fresh smells and cigarette free zone. I didn’t feel I got this here.
