Great breakfast in conservatory. Clean room with comfy beds. Just 10 mins from town centre on foot via roads and nice footpath by the river.
Some noise from main road but quiet during the night so ok really.
A very warm welcome from Heidi & Paul who couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. The little extras - full choice teas /coffee machine & biscuits. Great continental choice and full breakfast. Spotlessly clean, beds made up in the daytime & towel change if required ( & chocolate treat ). Fan & heater in the room, good shower & plenty of toiletries. Lots of local info & advice. It was our wedding anniversary and the couple presented us with Prosecco for breakfast which was a nice surprise. Bed comfy & pebtyvof cushions.
Only thing I would say was we were on the ground floor and could hear people moving about in the room above. I think they got up earlier than us! Not a great problem - I’m struggling to find any negatives ! My husband couldn’t find bbc on TV ( maybe that was just him).
A perfect stay. Just could not be beaten on any count. Paul and Heidi offer the ideal mix of friendly and professional service.
Paul and Heidi have a true treasure and we were delighted to be guests. The bed was comfy, the food delicious and the hosts were lovely!
Everyone was amazing and kind from the moment we got there and all throughout our stay. Rooms were cleaned daily fresh milk and water replaced every day. Breakfast was really tasty one of my best to date :) We was only about 10 mins from the town and we never used the car once as everything was within walking distance. I will definitely be recommending to all our friends and most certainly be back for a long weekend.
