10,0 Excellent
Pros: Magical place, excellent food and hospitality. Thank you Lisa and Ted!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were lovely with wonderful gardens and lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the grounds. The inn was quite comfortable with great common areas to sit and a library of books, which we were encouraged to take with us if we found something we liked. Our room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent! Breakfast was very good! A full home-cooked meal that went beyond typical home cooking. We were celebrating our anniversary and Lisa couldn’t have been nicer! She congratulated us when we arrived and we found a nice card from the inn’s staff in our room. The inn is very close to downtown, walking distance, but far enough that it’s away from the hustle. We definitely plan to stay here again when we have the occasion to stay in Camden. It was a real treat!
Cons: Nothing! We loved it!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location and very kind and thoughtful innkeeper
Cons: Mattress was pretty stiff

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming, obviously take great pride in their business! Loved the little help yourself kitchen for tea , coffee etc. The breakfast was excellent, no buffet a sit down meal cooked fresh and served to you at your table, and delicious! We stayed in the "Dahlia" room was beautifully presented and comfortable, the bathroom was also lovely, fully equipped and very clean. Plenty of on site parking. A 10 -15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, really lovely little town.
Cons: The only thing we could say that was a slight negative for us was the room was ground floor level at the front of the house and as a result suffered from a little road noise however the building is historic and has original single pane windows which is lovely to see :)

Pros: Clean room. Very charming.
Cons: Everything was great!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was above average.
Cons: The garden view was more like a parking lot with trees.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Strawberry Hill on our way from Portland to Bar Harbor. It was a perfect mid-point location that allowed a full day of coastal lighthouse visits on our way north. The Inn is situated on a beautiful property that overlooks a calm sea cove. All the rooms have nice balconies that view the water. The rooms are very well appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. I especially liked many of the "little touches" in the room that were reminiscent of the old-school, owner-operated motels that were so common in the 70s when I was a kid. It's a short drive to Rockland where there are many restaurants and opportunities for boat excursions. Before we left the area, we visited the Owls Head lighthouse and Camden Hills State Park. The Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn was a perfect stop on our way to Acadia.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Lovely location overlooking beautiful Glen Cove in Mid-Coast Maine. Every room has a water view. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with comfortable outdoor balconies. Staff was friendly and helpful, and coffee was ready as advertised in the AM.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast. A small continental breakfast would be nice. Also it would be really great to have coffee pots in the room as most hotels have now. We loved the separation of the bath/shower and the sink. Such a great idea, so we could have separate toiletry time. There were so many nice touches, such as the binoculars, the framed boat pictures, the soft grey walls and the nice quiet linens and great mattress. We will never stay anywhere else when we are Rockport. The view goes without saying and I loved the seagull. Jonason Livingston Seagull was very well behaved as well as the sweet cat Buckwheat. Thank you for a lovely stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The decor of the rooms was fresh and nautical. The chairs outside each room provided great relaxation and view of the water.
Cons: No.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet place and the view was amazing
Cons: Being in an upstairs room it was just alittle to warm for me without the heat on.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Glen Cove Inn this past weekend, on our way up to Acadia National Park. Upon arrival, when I went to check in I was told that we were upgraded to a King Deluxe room. Our room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We had our own private deck in the back of our room that overlooked a small pond. We appreciated the quietness and the peaceful sounds of nature while we sat outside at night.
Cons: Nothing. Our stay was excellent. I highly recommend the Glen Cove Inn. We will definitely be back.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The continental breakfast was a continent worth visiting. It had all the usual suspects but everything was better. The yogurt and pastry seemed homemade. The coffee was great. The room was cozy. All in all a solid 4 stars close to 4.5.
Cons: The room furniture looks great but wicker is less comfortable than it looks. Our shower was cramped. The bed was less supportive. But we are bed snobs so you may be fine with them. No charging ports and the outlets are not super convenient for chargers.

Pros: The location was perfect. The jacuzzi was a wonderful addition after a long hike. The bed very comfortable.
Cons: There was no exercise facility. The choice of breakfast was limited and the fruit tasted ‘old’. I did not like being told that there was a 11:00 deadline to leave rather than noon.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 4 days and spent most of the time on the balcony overlooking the harbor. Camden is the headquarters for schooners. The main dock was just below the patio. We watched schooners come and go as well as the activity of a busy harbor. Loved it!

Cons: The bedroom ceiling needed attention but it was not a big deal
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The Lord Camden Inn is a charming place to stay in the very picturesque town of Camden Maine. In retrospect we would have scheduled more time on our Fall Foliage trip for this area. The only down side is the bathroom is a little small but I would stay there in an instant given the chance again!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Lord Camden is a great spot. Right downtown. Lots of character. Great staff. Yummy breakfast. Beds are very comfortable. Very nice toiletries. Cookies and always beverages in the lobby.
Cons: We stayed in a harbor front king. They are really small but comfortable. Perfect deck looking out over the harbor. Honestly the room was a bit musty which was really surprising. Our friends stayed in a river front room. Much larger in size. Quiet. Also a deck.

Cons: Parking pass
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location for exploring downtown Camden.
Cons: Parking is inconvenient. You have to pick up the lot key from the front desk every time you need to get back in. They really should have cards they assign with your room key that you swipe to get in and out of the lot. Balconies need cleaning.

Cons: The room we had was a bit on the small side but it was cozy.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The pictures that were shown for booking were not correct. They were rooms that cost much more. The room we got was a tiny loft and could barely fit the 2 of us. We went to check out the very next day. The woman who ran the Inn upgraded us to a much nicer room where we spent the rest of our time. You should advertise the the room that you will be getting for price you are paying.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food at the Pub next door is excellent and at several other excellent seafood restaurants within walking distance right on the beach, also a bakery just up the street
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the cozy sort of loft feeling of our room. Loved coming back to it each day. Our hosts were wonderful...so welcoming and helpful.
Cons: We had a lovely view of the ocean, but it was somewhat obscured by large tree branches which could be trimmed back a bit.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rocky beach and great restaurant
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Room was adorable. Loved the porch. Having coffee and a fridge was great too.
Cons: The air conditioner at the head of the bed was loud and not great for my sinuses. The night light didn't work in bathroom and my bestie insisted on sleeping with a light on which meant I slept with sheet over my head!

9,4 Excellent
Pros: The 2015 renovation was beautifully done and brought the Whitehall to a much more modern and relevant place. Design is fun, slightly modern, and gorgeous yet doesn't detract from the historical building. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Was in a room with a shared bathroom which is fine, but the shower room (separate from the bathroom) was not marked and hard to find.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: The room was smaller than expected, nevertheless it served its purpose.
6,0 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly, obliging and competent. The breakfast was very nice, imaginative and “homemade”.
Cons: We were dismayed to see how the makeover had robbed the inn of its historic character. The style of furnishings did not appeal to us at all. Canned music in the public rooms was an annoyance, and the pervasive “fragrance” in the bedroom likewise.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was interesting, small selection but good.
Cons: Needs a new brand of coffee. It tasted terrible. rooms are small , so furnishing was a bit too much, it felt a little crowded
9,6 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Locations, coziness, hotel staff
Cons: Pool is getting a little out of shape. Storage of equipment is often right near doorways and in hallways. Do we really need the snowblower stored right by the entrance? Was there the whole time, so it clearly wasn't a temporary situation. Not a big deal.

Pros: Although we only stayed one night, we enjoyed this quaint and comfortable motel. The owner Alex and his wife Siobhan are from Ireland and Irish decor fills the lobby area, offering a welcoming experience. Alex is friendly and chatty and we enjoyed speaking with him, he still has a heavy brogue that is delightful. The rooms are very clean and the decor is colorful, with brightly painted walls and floral curtains. Our bed was so comfortable. We slept well. Continental breakfast was sufficiently stocked with fruit, yogurt, scones , English muffins and toast. Hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc. Just enough before heading out. Overall very pleased with our stay!
Cons: Nothing. For a motel lodging, we definitely felt we got our money’s worth.

Pros: What a perfect getaway! I needed to get away but I didn't want to travel too far since I'd only be going by myself and wouldn't be gone too long. So I choose Camden and this inn was really quite perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and sooo comfortable. I was in Room 3, which had this great river view. Falling asleep to the sound of the water below was great, plus the mattress was just so comfortable! Definitely will be recommending this place.
Cons: This isn't a complaint, but more of a note: the shutters to one of the windows had a piece broken off and one of the other shutters had a couple pieces that needed to be closed manually. I could close them and it didn't bother me, but others might take note.

Pros: Great, in town location; great view from the room
Cons: Less firm bed, warmer covers, fixing stain on walls in bathroom
