Pros: These four charming stone cottages designed in the architectural style of shepherd cottages are situated just a few kilometers from the town of Corte in a pretty village. The experience is unique, and the continental breakfast personally delivered by the owner to one's patio is a great feature. The cottages have kitchenettes and nicely appointed bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The owner is friendly and helpful and makes guests feel at home. There are several restaurants within a short drive; the owner Cyril can advise.
Cons: No particular concerns.
Pros: The setting in a charming rural area of a little hamlet was special and so close to the walks and drives of the area. The bed was exceptionally comfortable after full day hikes! The host Cyril was very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were good !
Cons: The WiFi was a little weak and erratic but perhaps it’s the mountains around. I would also suggest a cutting board for the kitchen.
Pros: Amazing and unique! The host, the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, the breakfast! All fabulous.
Pros: Everything here is absolutely FANTASTIC. Great location, super nice hosts, lovely cottages.
Cons: Not a thing could possibly be improved.
Pros: The food and wine were excellent and the scenery is beautiful.
Cons: It’s not the easiest place to find and is about 9 km to the nearest town
Pros: A beautiful, quiet mountain location.
Cons: Utensils in the little kitchen were marginal. Clearly, despite the advertisement, guests are not really expected to cook.
Pros: Lovely rural setting in a charming hamlet, friendly informative host, excellent breakfast brought to our chalet and a perfect location for the region
Pros: Villa Praesidio is located in a small mountain village, perfect if you like strolling through the countryside. Dinner which we pre-ordered was delicious. Cyril was a very helpful host.
Pros: an interesting little room
Cons: The terrace is very small. In the event that rain falls, you can only be in a small room. We had 2 dogs with us, who were tied up because they have many cats. Not suitable for dog owners. For breakfast, there was only honey, butter and jam, no cheese, no sausages. There are many steep stairs to the house, the problem of carrying luggage. At night you could only open the window in the bathroom if it did not rain. Not enough fresh air in the room. The window and the door only open inward or be closed.
Pros: Nice chalet on beautiful location. Good facilities and delicious breakfast! Very kind owner who gave us some good advice about hikes and weather conditions etc (in English).
When you stay at Hôtel Si Mea in Corte, you'll be in a regional park, within a 15-minute walk of University of Corsica Pascal Paoli and Gaffory Square. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and multilingual staff. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: A lovely hotel with spectacular views across Corte and the valley.
Cons: My friend and I travelled around Corsica by train and did not realise that Corte is effectively a taxi free town. We had no choice but to pull our suitcases for 25 min / 1.5km uphill to the hotel after arriving by train and being told by the local taxi driver no one was available. We were subsequently told that it Corte is too small and the taxi jobs in town are not worthwhile. This was not the fault of the hotel but I would not stay there again unless I had a car and that was not clear to me when I booked. However, I also have to thank the amazing woman on reception at Si Mea who spent much of one evening finding us the impossible - a car to take us back to the train station when we departed. She truly went above and beyond what was expected as trying usual drivers was a dead end and I am so grateful she persisted while we were out for dinner - truly amazing service and why I would heartily recommend this hotel, if you have a car!
Pros: Lovely room with spectacular views. Nice pool and terrace. Huge bathroom. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Hard to regulate the temperature of the room.
Pros: Me and my wife decided to stay in Corte for a week. This is a very small and cozy hotel in a quiet and beautiful setting. We decided to stay for breakfast but it is an option. The breakfast was very good and eaten in a very quiet environment. The rooms are very different in size and equipment and probably none of them is the same. Ours was at the ground floor and turned east. It was well-equipped; small refrigerator, coffee set, a good shower and fine air conditioning. The beds were good. At reception you can buy drinks at a reasonable price. The pool park is small but pleasant. The swimming pool is clean, the sunbeds good and the sunshades large. Around the hotel is a beautiful garden and good and free parking. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk down to the center of Corte with plenty of restaurants. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the old fort.
Pros: The hotel is a very cute place just in the outskirts of Corte. The ten minute walk to the centre is worth it for the beautiful setting this hotel is in. You can sit and look at the mountains and enjoy beautiful views. The pool was warm and nice. The rooms are really clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. Highly recommend.
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t the best - quite limited choice and a lot of flies crawling over everything. Not bad for 9euros though. It’s a ten minute walk to the town centre but not an issue for us.
Pros: Friendly reception; adequate breakfast
Cons: Too many stairs - up and down - to reach reception (and room)
Pros: The views are lovely and an easy walk into town
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Pros: Pleasant location, comfortable room, reasonably priced.
Cons: A short walk out of the centre. Virtually no taxis in Corte, so it a 1km walk from the rail station.
Pros: Good breakfast & Pool
Cons: We booked a room with a shower but we got a bath-tub. It was not possible the change the room. The toilette seat was broken and the toilette door did not close. We were offered to move to another hotel (without parking and pool)
Pros: Great View to Corte. Lovely Pool.
Pros: Location was good. Just a short walk into the town. Rooms were simple and clean. Swimming pool area nice.
Cons: Ensuite huge but clinical!
Centrally located in Corte, U Passa Tempu is just 7 km away from the Restonica Valley and its Tavignano gorges, its lakes, its natural swimming-pools and hiking trails. Guest rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a kitchenette with a Nespresso coffee machine. Guest have access to free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy a breakfast of local produce, served in their rooms or on the terrace With its central location, U Passa Tempu is close to the museum of Corsica and citadel. For guests arriving by car, free private parking is possible onsite. Corte train station is 1.4 km away and a free shuttle service is available upon reservation.
Pros: It si situated in the Centre
Cons: Not so easy to find and the parking entrance
Pros: very nice helpful host, the hotel is located in the middle of corte. breakfast is being made with fresh fruits and local honey & marmelade. room was clean and appropriate.
Cons: too much hot water, it is difficult to find the right mix, either too hot or too cold. the coffee at breakfast could be made with more qualitative machine/beans.
Pros: The hotel is in the center of Corte which is very convenient. Take care of the arrival times (you will get an email up front). Little small kitchen was included.
Cons: The car park is hard to find as you have to drive a steep way down that looks like stairways to restaurants - be courageous :-)
Pros: Good room, nicely located in town center, friendly owner, on-grounds private parking facilities available. Would come here again.
Pros: Only the location was good.
Cons: The room is some kind of basement and feels like a garage. Furniture is rather ugly and cheap, nothing makes you feel good about the room. One towel was missing and the window gives on the ugly car parking. For the price of 95eur for one night, although in line with expensive prices in Corsica, this place feels like a bad joke. Corte is also a old town without the feeling of authenticity. Full of restaurants and tourist shops. We regret stopping there to end our road trip in Corsica. The small village of Vivario some 20 minutes away that we saw while driving would have made for a much better stop and much nicer feeling of Corsica.
Pros: Warm welcome from owner, great location in heart of lovely town
Cons: Very new room, a little sterile
Pros: The location is superb - just down from the main square, close to the main drag and many restaurants. Parking was included, which was a real bonus, albeit an interesting drive down a cobbled road. There was an on-site restaurant where the food was adequate.
Pros: Good bed and pillows Good shower Excellent location Friendly welcome Capsule coffee machine On site free parking
Cons: Perhaps a little smaller room than expected but all you need
Pros: Small but great. Best location, Clean, quiet, Good wi fi, Alan, our host was most friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel despite the small room.
With a stay at Hôtel Capo D'Orto in Porto, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Genoese Tower and Calanques de Piana. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and an elevator (lift).
Pros: excellent service, great suggestions for activities and very helpful with extra requests - the hotel offers electric car charging as well, which was great for us.
Pros: Great view. Nice location
Pros: clean and sea view from the room balcony
Cons: breakfast is average
Pros: Fantastic view from our room’s terrace. Pleasant bar with good service also with view. Good breakfast, free off road parking with good restaurants nearby. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Pros: Super clean, lovely pool for the kids. Great staff.
Cons: Tiny bit disappointed in the town of Porto itself but enjoyed a meal in Ota at U Fragnu.
Pros: Great view, everyday clean room , nice balcony, relaxed staff
Cons: Walk to city centre. Due to hills, walk longer and 'heavier' than expected. Facilities outdated, no cosy bar
Pros: friendly helpful staff, lovely views
Cons: carpet in the room well used
Pros: Very nice hotel. Our first room was very good it was one of their most expensive ones. Due to problems with the ventilation we had to move to another room the last night and what a difference, it really neeeded upgrading....
Cons: I hope they can find the source for the smell of oil or gasoline we had the last night.
Cons: The breakfast was(almost) nothing
Pros: The staff particularly the reception were friendly. Although we had requested a twin room, we were given a double bed. We were able to switch rooms the next morning - pity it did not happen in the beginning. The hotel is a good 20-25 minute walk to the port where all the action is. Its great going downhill to the port but tough coming uphill in the heat.
Cons: Not really - apart from the location which I've mentioned above.
Pros: Great view of the mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Pros: Charming hotel in an old building on a quiet squire in the center of Corte
Cons: Facilities are a bit run down. No elevator (rooms are on the first floor) and nu parking
Pros: Very friendly staff, good location, clean room, and WiFi worked well.
Cons: Paper thin walls. If I understood French better, I would be able to understand conversations next to us. Luckily, everyone was quiet at night, so no real issue.
Pros: Location, excellent breakfast at good price.
Cons: Hard to adjust water temperature in shower. Convenient parking behind hotel, but you have to pay
Pros: The location was great to visit all to see in the old town
Cons: I booked a superior double room and requested beds to be configured as twin share., they were, but when it came to pay, they added an extra 5 euro per day for twin share. The room was also very tiny for a superior double. They suggested there was free parking, that is if you can squeeze into a parking spot on the street. paid for parking at the back of the hotel for 10'euro a day.
Pros: Friendly reception, comfortable bed, central location, good breakfast with delicious home-baked cake.
Cons: Sometimes the strong smell of fuel (or whatever it was) entered the room.
Pros: Very pretty old building in a quiet side street in the Center. Very friendly staff. Nice stay!
With a stay at Hotel du Nord in Corte, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of University of Corsica Pascal Paoli and Gaffory Square. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Helped plan out our itinerary for next few days! Central location only a few minutes walk from the old town . Good overnight stopping point on way from Bastia airport to the Calanches.
Pros: The room was warm and comfortable with all the mod cons required. Clean, well lit and ample space for solos or couples. Breakfast is adequate and you can chill in the area until early evening with free tea and coffee.
Cons: Sadly it was over Christmas with nothing open. As a tourism establishment, I feel the property should take some responsibility for informing customers when accepting bookings, that nothing is open as there is simply no alternative for food.
Pros: Wonderful, helpful staff always ready to encourage anyone who attempts a little French.
Cons: The heating unit in our room was noisy.
Pros: we arrived in a driving rainstorm and quite early... but the manager and her cleaning staff sat us down with a cup of tea and a muffin while they got a room ready for us in 30 minutes.. much appreciated
Pros: The hotel receptionist was super helpful...a lovely lady :) Great position in town with easy access to sites and restaurants. Clean room and a very warm welcome.
Cons: More electrical points would be useful
Pros: Very friendly helpfull team
Cons: Misses a brush of modernism
Pros: Free Secured Parking for motorcycle. Very Kind staff.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff made it a pleasurable stay. The hotel is conveniently located and we were given excellent advice for sightseeing, as well as very good restaurant suggestions.
Pros: We enjoyed being upgraded to a larger quiet room. The staff on reception were very helpful and gave good recommendations for dinner.
Cons: The entrance was a little daunting. The bathroom needed maintenance with the fittings
Pros: Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal central location

Cons: Kitchen too small
Cons: Location is not convenient. Without a car, you can't go anywhere. The toilet is really small. Luckily we are slim as fat people cannot use it.
Pros: Quite well appointed with cooking hob, microwave and fridge could do with some dish clothes or cleaners. Very reasonable price near a supermarket and pedestrian Bridge into town, good location
