Pros: The Spanish may be old but it is renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable (the bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft) and welcoming. Overview Reviews
With a stay at Coral Cove Resort in Coral Cove, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bargara Beach and Innes Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is great. Staff were very helpful, see below for comments. Went during school holidays and a movie night was put on for the kids which kept them happy. Pool and play areas very clean and safe. Even with a large group next door and kids playing outside the soundproofing is superb, you have no idea until the doors are opened that anyone is nearby. Overall very happy with the place. My kids want to go back ASAP!!
Cons: Beware - when I first arrived the room I was given did not have a working spa and the furniture was aged and looked worn. Staff said a number of the spa's don't work. However they happily changed my room to a fantastic newly refurbished room which was excellent.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: The restaurant to be open as advertised Travelled all day not wanting to venture out for an evening meal to be told the restaurant wasn’t open (Advertised in booking.com restaurant open)!!!
9,6 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Cons: Kitchen was a bit small for a large unit.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It's a huge golf coarse by the beach. 2x swimming pools, absolutely beautiful. It's quiet and peaceful. Perfect for families.
Cons: I couldn't have dinner at the property because they were fully booked and they wouldn't do take aways. The restaurants around the area are a 10 min drive in Bargara. Great restaurants but it means you need to drive. They requested us to put the rubbish outside in the bins, the rooms were not cleaned daily, it would cost more for it to happen. They should do a bit of renovation in the room furniture but overall, it's great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Huge villas with personal spa and golf course, overlooking the ocean.
Cons: There wasn't any WiFi which was a bummer
4,5 Okay

4,6 Okay
Pros: It was one night, basically to sleep in. It had a bed. Central to cbd.
Cons: It was old, the room smelled musty, there was mould on the bathroom ceiling. Shower curtain in the shower, towel rail broken. The toilet roll holder fell off whenever touched. Just really old dated and dingy. Dead bird in the drive way, we had a park late afternoon when we went to a wedding but no parking available when we returned late night and had to park on the street. So clearly not enough parks for those accommodated. Though I was only there a short time, it was not a room you would want to spend any extended time in. But I’m probably fussy.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet
Cons: Parking a bit tight but that’s being picky
9,5 Excellent
Pros: the location was very good very good bed
Cons: the sign on door to have your room serviced is so small did not see the sign until 2nd day therefore room was not serviced otherwise quite good
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good wi fi
Cons: Double bed was like a rock, hard as. You had to wash up your own dishes otherwise they charge you $30. Decor needs up dating
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenience, close to railway.
7,9 Good
Pros: Aircon in wrong place to cool instantly
Cons: All good
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent for Roma St train station. The apartment was well equipped and clean.
Cons: Our bedroom was next to the lifts. The lifts were going up and down all night. We didn't get much sleep due to the noise of the lifts, which defeated the objective of staying there. We were put off by this and didn't want to book this apartment again on our return to Brisbane a week later.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the effort of making an average and ageing facility more modern, but the restoration process needs to go further than what these people achieved. Especially sound proofing in-between units; not hard - there are countless industrial acoustic products available. Also floor coverings - please rip it all out, one unit at a time, and replace the whole lot with large format (600x600) tiles with tiny tile gaps (the super modern look that will last for decades to come) - please, no carpets, and for goodness sake, SEAL THE GROUTING - the only thing that prevents the tiling looking old.
Cons: Sound proofing - really! Dunny paper... make it double/triple layered! Single-layered - people use up more anyway! Attention to detail... rust marks on bins, ageing tapware. Look around more closely. Guests do! For goodness sake, PLEASE provide ice cubes in the fridge! If you can't, provide a unit in the common area which spits out ice cubes for guests to pick up. Most international hotels do ice as expected routine. All this can be used for marketing. It will cost less than it brings in, in the long run. Really! Reputation is everything!
6,3 Good
Pros: It had everything you needed
Cons: It was very dated, ants all around the sink, the door didn’t lock properly, you stood higher than the shower curtain, all we did was itch all night in bed. It was a shame as the owners were lovely
7,5 Good
Pros: Not the flashiest of motels, but serves its purpose and the stability of the wifi is a highlight
Cons: Could do with a update. But all facilities work ok

Pros: Good service, helpful,
Cons: Noisy group of people at the other end of the building, woke me up at 4:30 in the morning. But nothing to do with the place itself.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was a pleasant surprise for our family, we planned to just have a walk-in, day out and sleep type of a visit, but our plans were altered and Coral Villa was EXTREEMELY accommodating. We had a late check-out, care for our baggage and, in addition, an offer for a reduced rate to continue the stay if required. All BBQ equipment was made available at no additional cost. Free laundry too!!! Real Aussie spirit the real 'little battler's' type of place to encourage. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy, after travelling or late nights, a good night's sleep was lovely. The cute little little add ons, creativeness of a red phone box, dinosaur, pool, fairy garden suits kids to a tee. Followed by a lovely area to sit outside.
Cons: Only negative that didn't impact me personally but littke bit dusty on side table and TV a tad high, but I understand why it's a bit higher, also the doors eventually should be changed, but old. But everything else was fine.

7,5 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: As a single person in the restaurant I felt completely neglected. It took 15 minutes to deliver as single beer and fifty minutes to bring the meal. Having said that, it was a nice meal.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean & quiet no road noise. They offered room service for breakfast & lunch. We slept well.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving! Room was clean inside.
Cons: Facilities advertised were not available. Restaurant, bar, breakfast at a restaurant not available. The website offered facilities not open. Windows dirty, outside area required cleaning. Far too expensive and by far the worst motel we stayed at out of the ten we used. Also, the cost was just too high.
7,9 Good
Cons: Had an old box reverse cycle air conditioner and it was very noisy. Thankfully I did not need it on when sleeping.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was at 12 instead of a later 2pm check in like most places. It was great to be able to check in at 12 and be able to get ready for our friends wedding.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Didn,t have breakfast or dinner Reading the reviews for the restaurant was enough to put us off
Cons: Didn,t sleep well as the room was near the main road, the air conditioner was noisy and upon inspection, the filter was dirty. Whilst the bathroom looked as though it has been renovated not too long ago,the room is dated and was musty upon arrival with no way of ventillating. The grounds are unkept looking messy. Given the booking site showed 4 stars and paying $139 (supposed to be a deal) it was more like 3 stars and worth about $99. i definitely will not be staying here again.

Pros: clean great location friendly staff
6,7 Good
Pros: Location - great chicken Parmigiana
Cons: Requires an update, the TV was smaller than my PC monitor
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Conditions of the rooms have deteriorated significantly since last stayed a couple of years ago. No reception or staff on site so the complex is not monitored or managed closely. Large group of people in next unit decided to have a party on Tuesday night that went on until the early hours of the morning with no intervention by the owners/managers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the price
Cons: we requested rooms side by side but didn't get that
6,7 Good
Cons: Very old style of accommodation for the price
6,7 Good
Pros: Close to shops and easy to access.
Cons: Our toddler found a pair of old underwear under our bed. We weren’t told about the $100 security deposit. Our tv suddenly stopped working and when we unplugged it the PowerPoint was loose and dangerous. Once we plugged it into another PowerPoint the tv worked again.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Room was daggy and in desperate need of a revamp and carpets felt dirty. The complex felt abandoned. There were only a couple of other guests in a large complex that is in desperate need of renovation. All of the facilities are extremely tired.
5,0 Okay
Cons: There were ants.
7,1 Good
Cons: Difficult to get to reception and very noisy plumbing in bathroom when other rooms nearby used their bathroom.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great to have breakfast provided with a choice of continental or cooked. Handy to city, obviously refurbished room which was well set up.
