Pros:The car I got had a clean bill of condition but I found several significant dings and scratches that I may have been held responsible for.Cons:The original booking was at a good rate, but when I extended it from 10 days to 2 weeks, I was very unhappy at the increased rate - I would have expected it to be the same or even better given a weekly rate - it went from $30/per day through the independent booking site to $45!!Reviewed Aug 23 2020

Pros:The winter tires made the trip much safer and the employee at the NotreDame office was very kind, easy to understand and fair. The car itself was easy to handle and made for a fun experience to drive.Cons:Pick up was difficult all around. Some of the guidlines regarding being under the age of 25 should really be looked into and maybe reconsidered depending on the individual's insurance, references, experience, etc... Upon arriving back home to drop off the car, it was found that the chip in the windshield was recently documented but not reported and fixed. Therefore, I'd traveled with an unsafe and faulty windshield. This missed detail makes me sceptical of renting a vehicle with Budget again, in the future.Reviewed Feb 25 2018

It's a rental place.Pros:There were no surprises. Everything was as expected. The car drove well, and I checked hours for pickup to avoid any embarassing gaffes like showing up when they weren't open.Cons:I don't like when people make a mistake and then write a negative review based around their error. On the whole there were no issues with my rental. Budget held up their end and so did I. Quick and dirty.Reviewed Sep 13 2017

My first try!Pros:I loved how easy it was to pick up and drop off the vehicle. The staff were EXCELLENT! The vehicle was brand new, only 2800 km on it. The rate was amazing!Cons:The detail job on the car previous to our rental was not the greatest. Found food crumbs lots of places and inside windows were smudged with fingerprints. The car (unfortunately) was very uncomfortable for me. I do have back issues and thought it was only me but my husband was complaining as well. I discovered I do not want to buy a brand new vehicle. I need the seats broken in. I would like to be able to have a choice of vehicles to pick through - not have a "comparable to said vehicle" as my only option for SUV. I wanted a bigger vehicle but online it was not an option. I also do not know what options there are and thus did not know what to pick. There should be something online that mentions PETS or gives the option of certain vehicles that will allow them... just a thought.Reviewed Jul 28 2017
