The location was really nice. It is like 7-8' walk to the Grand Place. The room was comfortable and had all we needed for an overnight stay. We liked the fact that whenever we were leaving the hotel, we had to leave the keys to the reception desk, which was 24/7. In this way, we weren't afraid to lose them.
The staff was kind of unfriendly-maybe bored. The elevator was a bit strange actually. The walls were not really thick, we could listen to the near rooms.
Close to centre of Brussels friendly staff
Bed was hard room was a bit shabby could have done with a paint and decorate very noisy ouside lots of local works going on not hotels fault i know but just worth noting despite double glazed windows noise was loud
The manager is rude The room was dirty and worn The toilet and shower both leaked
When we came to the hotel, the lady was very friendly First we would have a room on the top level, where there is no elevator but the receptionist not only agreed to switch to the level below where the elevator was stopping but even gave us the choice between two rooms. We chose room 44 as the mattresses were much better there, they looked even new and the pillows were fine too. I also received two additional pillows. Also, the location is very good, about 15 min walking from the Central Station and near old town.
LICE!!!! After the first night I noticed itchy rash, after 2nd night the rash got worse. I thought first that it was from the towel which smelled like they had been washed in the chlorine. We don't use these detergents in Holland anymore. In the train home the rash became really a problem. The specialist didn't have any doubt - lice bites. At 8 March about 21 hours I called the hotel to warn them about this problem. I got astonished about the reaction of the person who picked up the phone (male voice) - after hearing about lice (parasite) in room 44 on the 4th floor, he said that I should call next day when the manager is there and directly put the phone down! Not a professional reaction from a hotel staff in any hotel.
Easy access and close to the centre of town. Nice clean room. Friendly staffs.
I expected a bath-tub, because the picture shows the bathroom with bath-tub, but it wasn’t there.
