The location was wonderful - in the buzz of the old city and near sites to visit as well as good places to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also had a wonderful view from our window. Some days we got real Belgium chocolates on our bed.
We slept restless as we had to listen to the noises from the room above us. Some days our room was serviced better than other days.
Not a short distance from train station when dragging luggage, but a wonderful location once there. Reception desk constantly manned during the day. Our room was small in the attic and the sloping ceilings were very, very low. I think our mattress has been there since the middle ages, but somehow we slept O.K. It was quiet, we never had a problem with noise. Breakfast was good and as I recall, the coffee was excellant.
Room could use an update.
Easy walking distance from the station. Friendly welcome. Well positioned for seeing Bruges on foot. A restaurant with a 20.5 euro menu only 50 metres from the hotel.
Even in early September we found the duvet too hot.
Staff were really nice and helpful giving us advice on how to get to and from the football stadium. Room was bigger than expected and super clean. Location was right in the middle of Bruges about a 5min walk to the Belfry in the middle of town and only 10min walk from the main train station. I would stay here again without hesitation on my next visit to this magical town.
Similarly to most buildings in Bruges the sloped roof was a challenge for a taller person such as myself and I did hit my head a couple of times. However, as this is the only complaint I have I would recommend this place highly.
