I recently stayed here during the 2016 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships which took place in St. Paul. This hotel is really nice, tucked neatly right off of I-94. Was easy to find and is in a quiet buisness park just outside the Minneapolis Metro area. Check in was seamless (I used e-check in) and they had everything ready to go. Really nice staff at check in. The rooms are very nice. Modern decor and very clean. I stayed on the south facing side (718) which meant no noise from the Interstate. My room was the two room suite but is really more like 4 rooms with a sleeping area, common area with sofa, kitchenette/mini-bar, and bathroom. Everything was really clean and comfortable. The bed was heaven. Having the microwave and mini-fridge came in handy. The bathroom very spacious...plenty of towels. Lots of closet space and the floor was really quiet...never heard a peep. The breakfast was delicious as well. Ate there most mornings. Made to order omlettes and everything else. Attending an event in St. Paul I had been concerned I was staying a bit far away but the travel time to St. Paul was only about 15-20 minutes...super fast. Just get on I-94 till you get there. The hotel is really only about 7-10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Very accessible. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The price was perfect as well. Really upscale stay without breaking the budget. All staff always with a smile and very friendly. Stay here!
We stayed at this propertry a year or so ago for my sons wedding. This weekend was another event, the christening of his son at nearby St. Anthony Village. We really appreciated the space, the managers reception, but especially the great breakfast.
The view from the seventh floor was wonderful, we were able to see the Minneapolis skyline and the Earle Brown Heritage Center. The trees were just starting to turn and it was simply beautiful. The sound proofing was incredible. There were 200 hockey students staying the same weekend we were there, with some in the room next to us and we did not hear a peep from them when in our rooms. Could sometimes hear them when in the hallway, which didn't bother us at all, after all, they are kids. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh food, which could not have been easy as the hotel was booked, on top of those 200 hockey students. Overall a great experience and we think we have found our "home" away from home when we go to Minneapolis to visit family.
