It was nicely furnished with a good outdoor space. Appreciated honesty bar and coffee/tea in the room. Good WiFi connectivity.
My room was next to the local nightclub/bar which went on until 3am. There was no double-glazing so I was unable to sleep. When I complained to the night manager he told me the hotel was full, what did I expect (so it was my fault?!) and handed me some ear plugs. There was no desk or chair in the room for me to be able to work.
Everything, staff were friendly and helpful . Location was so central and facilities were excellent
Everything was great, nothing we didnt like
The staff were really nice. The location was central. The decor was nice. Bathroom clean and pillows comfy.
It’s way too noisy for a good sleep. Firstly there was a loud electrical hum while I was trying to sleep. Then I was woken up multiple times by outdoor activity in the street - eg the tipping of lots of bottles into a big bin. They need to invest in soundproof windows. And I am a good sleeper. Solve this and it’ll be a nice place. Also my sink blocked and didn’t go down but to be fair they probably could of resolved the sink but wasn’t worth my bother for one night. Also a note for lone women just to know it’s accessed through a side alley not a well lit popular street.
Perfect location close to the Crown Court where I was working. Plenty of places to eat out nearby Comfortable bed room 9 plus a desk to work at. Ultra clean Quiet Good lighting Good security
The TV in my room - continual interference with BBC 1 and BBC 2
Location and friendly staff
Small room and shower , a bit noisy as the hotel is close to a busy market
