Cons: There isn’t any secure luggage storage at the hotel which I really would have expected. Of a hotel of this calibre. There is some storage but it is just open access to anyone There is at the station 10 minutes walk away though which we used instead.

The free mini bar was a nice touch, as was the unique 8 free euros of wine from the wine machine. The choice at breakfast was great. All the staff were tremendously helpful. The beer was absolutely fantastic.

Pros: Love the complimentary mini bar, breakfast was excellent quality food and options and location was also fantastic. We travelled in by train which was 10 minutes walk and left via the airport which was 15 minutes taxi or under 30 minutes via public transport. It was also only 10 minutes walk from the central area where most of the key sights are. The Fabrika pub restaurant was great, I loved their own brewed wheat pale ale great if you like a fruity beer.

Pros: The listed concerns can be easily solved. Despite these minor facts, we highly recommend LOFT if you are visiting Bratislava, Slovakia. The hotel is 15 mins walk from the main train station and then 15 mins walk away from the center. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They are beautifully designed and decorated with wood and brewery pictures all around. We wished we were staying for more than one night in Bratislava to enjoy our room more. We loved the details and the large curved TV screen. We also recommend that you book your room with breakfast as they offer a large variety of delicious items. Oh, and if you want to have dinner, go to Fabrika Beer Pub right at the hotel's entrance.

Cons: This was a brilliant stay in this fantastic hotel. Being very picky, the only comment we would make is the hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough. It's also worth noting that the restaurant was so busy in the evening, you probably would be best to book a table.

Cons: It was hard for us to carry our bags on stairs to reach the hotel entrance. There is no designed slope to drag the bags on. Another issue faced was the sharp bed corners. You might hit your leg while walking through the room. In addition to the above, some staff were not welcoming and we had to carry our bags ourselves into the luggage store room.

Our "junior" suite was incredibly spacious and well-appointed with a large sitting room, entry area and bathroom. Bed was comortable. Toilet was a separate room from bath and shower, which is always convenient when sharing a room with others. Breakfast was served in the dining room, and the selections were more than enough for all preferences. There's a small but decent gym with working cardio equipment in the basement. The location on the edge of the old city makes for easy walking both in the old town and into the new. A truly special stay.

Pros: This hotel is very well located, smack in the middle of town. Staff provided high level of service. They were courteous and helpful and responsive to all our enquiries. Of special mention are Maria and Ludlima, who were outstanding in their customer service. Prior to our stay, they were very patient and thorough in answering our many questions. They went the extra mile to meet our requirements and as a result made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. When we asked for directions to go to the train station to buy our tickets, Ludlima offered to use their external concierge to purchase them for us. All we needed was to pick them up at the reception. This saved us both cost and a lot of inconvenience, for which we were very happy and appreciative. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a first class experience.

The guy over there after handling the customer which is before me does not give me chance to proceed unless he gave a chance to another person who comes after me which is very embrassing and I told the other lady when my turn comes that why did he did that as I was waiting for long. The lady had no answer and apologise to me. It looks like some sort of discrimination at Hotel which is very shocking. The other problem we faced that on breakfast we asked waitress to take up the plates which we were not using she took once but then does not show up. Although I was watching her doing for every table but she doesnot doing it for ours. I dont know exactly what is reason behind it. Some sort of not giving attention to ours without telling us why ? Strange!

We took the bus to reach the city center, what was a very good decision, as it is cheap and you have no worries with the parking. One way trip costs 0,70 eur/person. Be prepared to have coins to purchase the bus ticket.

Cons: The hotel is way too expensive considering the location which is neither central nor scenic or otherwise interesting, limited number of parking spaces, lack of facilities (even the restaurant as the only facility in the hotel was closed in the evenings of Friday, Saturday and Sunday). When the tv channels simply disappeared, we where told by the receptionist that the chef from the kitchen would try to fix it, it was eventually fixed two nights later. They tried to charge us 20 Euros per night for our dog. When we asked to see the tariff, they could not find any. "What about paying 15 Euros per night?" the receptionist tried..at the end we still paid 70 Euros per 7 nights.

Cons: The service staff was really friendly and supportive. What we particulary didn't like was the staff at the reception when we checked in first. Considering that she was a trainee and still didn't know her way around her behaviour was still considered unfriendly. We know that check-in times start at 14 pm admittedly we came 20 minutes too early but we were refused while other guests were able to check-in before us and after us. We first suspected that they booked one extra day in advance to check-in earlier but after small-talking with some of them that turned out to be not the case. There was a more expierenced staff there at that time but she didn't support her. The trainee might have had a bad day but that treatment right at the start of the vacation left a slightly negative impression. To make it clear we do not believe that it was racism at all, she might follow the guidelines too strictly and was not aware of the possibilty of checking us in first and reminding us in a friendly way to wait a couple of minutes more. Except for that small issue we only met really friendly staff

I called reception for the entrance door locker, of room 529, that was not locking, technician with Frederick receptionist were trying to help and fix but no results. After complain about this, they gave us another room at 2nd floor. Pillows VERY deeply soft, you can't relax for sure, you need 2 of them, so with acceptance of Reception, I moved alone pillows from previous room to new room. In the new room, toilet seat was broken, but we really didn't have more power to ask for fixing it in the middle of the night. Bathroom didn't have any curtain or glass. Water was coming out. Kettle with coffee is not included in room, you need to call reception to bring it. Outside of the breakfast area, was a huge conference bazaar. Too much people, not very good for people who sit to eat, some others are looking on them from conference..... Maybe I will come back, but maybe not. My mother was not so happy with hotel generally.

The barbaric area and the hall area was the best place to hag around and make new friends. Cons: Normally I try not to write negative reviews unless its really necessary. But this one I have to mention, Two girls at the bar were very rude and unprofessional. One with black hair and other blonde. The black hair girl was unfriendly and did not like her work, would only look after her local friends and neglect other. The blonde hair girl was very rude and it was obvious she did not want to serve brown skin people as me, my friend and other backpackers from Asia had the same problem everyday. In the beginning I just ignore this for a few days, but on one evening she was not taking our order and ignoring us at the bar and serving other people behind us. When she took our order she push the drink glass on the counter with disrespect and gave back my friends credit card literally trowing it at him. My friend went to complain at the reception but the guy there just raised his shoulder and was of no help. The next day we found the manager was on holiday. Hope the manager or the owner looks into this matter and educated their staff so that this does not happen to other guests in the future.

Cons: We got the room that is not on pictures, room was dirty, bathroom terible. We requested another room, those that are shown on booking, but they said they were sorry and no free room that are new. But when we checked on site, of course there were options to book a room in this hotel. The girl on the desk just didnt care. Very unprofesional, not so kind, everyone can see on pictures bellow what room they gave us.

Pros: When complained about the mould the night staff moved us to the executive room which were recently renovated without issue. If I were to stay here I would only take the executive room. Night staff were excellent, day staff would learn a lesson or two off them
Cons: Originally had a business room which was quite large. There were however far too may issues including white mould in the bathroom and air conditioning which caused my partner and I to become sick, shower floods the bathroom, drying rack does not work, cleaners come 30 minutes ahead of schedule then when asked to return later as we had not left, never do. When staff notified they were annoyed with us and didn't believe us.

Pros: Super comfortable bed, big room with nice air-conditioning. Good shower. Very friendly accomodating receptionist. Awesome view on the castle. Quiet location, but still close to the city centre.
Cons: Had to upgrade the room to get the view on the castle. TV is rather small, room looks a bit worn out.

Pros: Great facilities in the room. Nice, spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed. The little kitchenette had everything we needed during the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a residential area of the old town, so it's quiet, but the old town and all its attractions and restaurants are within 10 mins walking distance. If you need parking - don't forget to reserve a spot in advance as it's limited! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros: The beds were really comfortable and the hotel is well located a few blocks from old town bratislava.
Cons: The shower is really dangerous. I had to put a towel in the bath so I wouldn’t slide! The room itself lacks a little cosiness.

Pros: Great castle views. Dog friendly for 15 euro a night. Grocery store Tesco is close by. Great place to stay when moving to or from Bratislava.
Cons: The room wasn't dusted, there was dust on the shelves in the living room with dead moths. The personal patio off the room was amazing but unfortunately there was no furniture to sit out on and enjoy the view. The patio had cigarette butts all over which we picked up. We enjoyed that we could bring our dog but when we registered were told it was 10 euro a night but then was charged 15 a night. Breakfast at 10 euro a person is a little high for a family but with a kitchenette o e could eat in the room. Gym use for 1 euro, why charge? Normal fees for spa. Parking is not free.

Cons: Forget the breakfast! Terrable. At 9 there was hardly anything. Scambled eggs just not eatable. Just like vegetables. They buy the cheapest, not eatable tomatoes.....no taste in summer. I simply felt cheated.

Cons: no restaurant in the hotel, only breakfast available and snacks in the evening. Not even a single bottle of water in the room, which really is a shame in summer, just tap water available in the bathroom. Small parking places, not easy to park a regular car - you need to leave the car outside, enter the hotel, take a special card for parking and then go back to the car to continue parking... 18euro per night.

Cons: The beds were not very comfortable , Staff do not smile enough and also there was a fire drill on one of the day we were leaving at 10.30 am 1) This was not communicated to guests well .. there should have been a letter placed in our room informing us of this . 2) this was in the morning when after a late night out was incovenent as most guests were still sleeping and we wanted to catch some sleep before having to check out! When we asked for a late check out to compensate us for the inconvenience we had to be referred to the manager who initially was inconsderate and wanted us to pay for the late check out which i feel was unfair ! It was only after one insisted and pointed that I would complain that the manager agreed to it . unessary exp

Cons: Constant drone of a rather noisy bathroom extractor fan which did not switch off all night. The staff did try to help but it meant calling out the technician, so it was decided it would be OK to leave it. No doubt fixed by now.
