Rooms are nice. Restaurant is well decorated. Nice terras.
They mainly had their focus on big groups. When we arrived at the breakfast at 08.00 am, almost everything was empty. Their was no automatic refill, we had to ask for everything.
Location in the Dades Valley was excellent. Decorated in a typical Marrocon style. Friendly and helpfull staff (room assignment went wrong twice but was finally resolved). Restaurant setting was enjoyable.
Dinner was of less quality than expected from reviews. No music afterwards like stated in other reviews. Upon arrival the staff was overwhelmed by a large group of guests - impacting the service level: check-in, dinner, breakfast.
Hotel is quite nice and rooms are also nice. It’s next to the main road, parking for our motorcycle was under camera
We expected great staff and great hotel and great breakfast from the other reviews but we were very disapointed. Check-in was veeeeery long, we had to wait 30minutes for our room, then we got room in the basement with no reception on the phone and also no wifi signal. Also in the evening (at 11 pm) other group of guests were very very loud in the hallway and no one came to say nothing. Also breakfast was awful - many jams and honey plates but no bread, empty bottles with juice, dirty plates and glasses with trash on all tables from previous guests who had breakfast before us. Staff was walking by but didn’t take away dirty plates.
The room in the new building was nice and clean and it was indeed silent. We appreciate that the owner gave us this opportunity.
We arrived at around 3pm and were greeted with a tea and then sat about 1 hour on the terrace with nothing happening. After an hour we were informed that the boss is not there and we could not check in yet. When we came back 3hours later the boss was finally there and informed us that they were expecting large groups so he recommended to not stay in the main hotel but in the new annex (the road down) for a more silent night. We had dinner in the main hotel, the wait was a bit long and service was only ok as there was only one person serving all guests. We did not stay for the music. The focus is definitely on groups, we did not feel as welcome as in other places. We were made to wait on several occasions while the owner served the group (ie in the middle of check out).
We stayed in a triple which had lots of room. For unknown reason, when we checked in they tried to get us to stay in the Annex, a few hundred meters up the road. I took a look and did not like the Annex at all, and requested a room in the main building. This request was honored, and had no issues after that. Staff speaks very good English. I would stay here again.
