We were really looking forward to our stay. We travel a lot an this place seemed to fit us perfectly, but it didn’t. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, I can’t even imagine how old the pullout was. The sofas were old, awkward and dirty...same goes for the flimsy window coverings. We were particularly disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work since we were there for four days before New Years. No maid service the first day. I could go on, but I think I have made my point. It does redeem itself with the location and the grounds. Otherwise, find a different place to stay.
Poor mattress, terrible breakfast, excellent views, nice bar and restaurant
destination fee not included in info from kayak
Not kept up
If yo have any sensitivity to mold, mildew or smells don't go here. The place was at one time, lovely but is in disrepair. There was paint peeling in the bathroom, the Jacuzzi did not work, window treatments were falling apart and the manager was unresponsive to complaints. The mold problems are unhealthy.
The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our needs were meet and they did it all in a sincere glad to do it manner. My mom has been sick for a long time and this was the first time she was able to travel and she had been wanting to go to the mountains . She said it was the best trip she ever took. I can't thank the staff enough for being so gracious. We will definitely be back.
Unbelievable views. Amazing charm
Awesome serenity. Beautiful premises. Very professional staff. A real gem.
There was an outdoor jacuzzi that was cold and not clean. I hoped we could use it. Balcony wood floors very slippery. Not enough dishes in the kitchen for the 5 of us.
Best place ever!
We booked our stay on the way to the mountains. When we got there they did not have our type of room available so they upgraded our room! It was awesome! The view was breathtaking! The staff were all smiles and so friendly.
The pillows were too firm. The ceiling fan in our bedroom did not work.
Quiet and clean
Upon going there at 9pm, they charged a resort fee $15, which was not made aware at booking. Small room, not great view as described. Most of all the television was very small and was surprised to see that people still have these old televisions. The drive was good during the day, but on our way to the hotel at night, it was scary and the hotel entrance was not clear, so we drove past and had to come back.
